[Emille has absolutely zero interest in any of this stuff, but as a new faculty member, she figured that she should, you know, show up to the faculty meeting. So she's in the back of the room, taking in what others are saying while studying them, getting to know faces and names. She's also partaking in the fancy food offered to them -- certainly anything fancier than a woman who has spent the majority of her life in school has had a chance to enjoy.
