February is Quite a Month (Closed & Open Prompts)
Who: Jonathan, and you! (And rex, and his relatives...)
What: Family tree talk with family, and FalseBody Shenanigans for Everyone
When: Feb 2, and then the rest of Feb (And Feb 26!)
Where: Giorno's Dorm, The campus, some Classrooms...wherever Rex is...

It is February the Second.
It isn't as if Jonathan has been putting off this meeting- no if anything, many other things have been getting in the way, from getting ahold of proper books and still other things. But the day has arrived, and Jonathan ultimately gets the help needed to slowly set things up in Giorno's dorm for what will be a quiet moment of time looking through the only things they can make use of in the absence of a photo album.
History books. News clippings. He's asked for Jolyne to help by providing what sources she herself had found- obviously she had them, given she knew him by name- but now here they are, a small bat, a bunch of books, and...
Well by the time they're settled he's already looking a little wistfully at a particular news clipping from a wedding, 1889, F....
February the second...
"Oh-" Right, they're. Supposed to be talking. "I do apologize, I... ...I suppose I allowed myself to get a little lost in thought, didn't I?"

This is not the first time they've been working together on this matter. More precisely, Rex is working, and Jonathan is sort of testing. All seems to be quite well however- Fine motor skills, walking, Seeing (And god, it takes some getting used to- fruit bats aren't entirely colourblind but they are limited in that regard and seeing the world with the human range was a phenomenal experience the first time he opened them.)
Now however...
"A combat test?" he repeats in question, though at the very least without confusion. If anything he sounds a little eager at the idea; gentle giant he may be (was? is now?), the idea of a good spar was still a thrilling thought to have. A friendly match, one where both sides could laugh it off, is something he hasn't been able to have in an age.

Though he does wonder what sort of combat test Rex will come up with....

As the days draw closer to the 26th, one might catch glimpses of someone who ordinarily would not be on campus. He's very careful of course- his relatives will not be finding him, and he's even explained to a few trusted fellows why that cannot be. But ultimately he needs to make sure he can handle finer motions, matters of strength control, walking, so on so on. Nothing major- he's already tested that level of things with Rex. So truthfully, testing might just be an excuse.
He'd rather not be so shocked by everything again that he ends up late for Jolyne's birthday, after working so hard to prepare a surprise though.
With that in mind...just who is that on the campus?? If anyone had been around long enough to know Jotaro or even Joseph in their youth, he no doubt looks familiar. Anyone who has the finer points of observation can also see a connection to Giorno- in the face, specifically, what with Giorno's hair and frame being entirely different from the 6'5'' mountain of a man that Jonathan is.
He's dressed for the weather though- even added a hat for the walk outside, which no doubt helps to keep from being recognized a bit too early- as much as his relatives won't expect him to be piloting a human body, that doesn't necessarily mean they won't be sharp enough to figure it out.
Especially since, as anyone who knew Jonathan himself can confirm, it's as close to his body as any can possibly get.
And with Rex, that's pretty damn close.

It doesn't make getting used to passing others in the halls any easier though, and as odd as it is for him to think it, he rather prefers being a bat in some regard.

Hello Jolyne? I've prepared something of a small surprise for you in the classroom we typically train in! I was uncertain if you would want to draw much attention to your birthday after all.
(I will also be inviting Giorno, if that is alright?)

Giorno- I'm preparing a small birthday surprise for Jolyne (It's her birthday today, yes!). I shall admit however, that it is a bit of a surprise for you as well; if you could meet me at the noted classroom below, I would much appreciate it. I may need a bit of help setting things up, but as well, I'd rather not alarm you too much just before Jolyne arrives.

[We've a recipe for disaster upon the campus, it appears. Jonathan's small surprise is indeed rather small. He asked Jolyne's mother for some ideas on what she'd like on a birthday, but more than that asked for help preparing some sort of secured video call to perhaps let the two connect for the holiday. Connect, while the sorts of things she'd have had at home are around. Food wise, maybe even just atmospherically...
And of course, he called her ahead of time to ask the woman's opinion on the Other surprise.
Jolyne's mother had paused, as if considering something, and ultimately said 'she'll definitely be surprised!' while adding it would be alright still.
As it is- when Giorno arrives he's still rather awkwardly balancing a cake in one arm, and opening the classroom door with the other-] Ah-
[No! The cake is carefully being set aside so that he can better greet the teen.] ...Giorno.
[This went better in his head.] I ah... ...I managed to obtain a sort of...replacement body?
[god, it's so awkward-
It probably won't be much better when Jolyne arrives, but at least everything will be set up that time, as Jonathan's voice comes through the door to say 'come in!'
...Revealing of course, a beaming Jonathan, Jolyne's mother on a screen, and Giorno no doubt feeling a bit out of place in the room despite italian connections.]
