Desidera didn't need to spend too much time making her preparations; she didn't have terribly much in the way of things that she would particularly need to bring with her, except she did make sure that she was carrying her charm. She wasn't wearing it, though, only keeping it somewhere on her person.

As for what she was wearing for the trip, she'd opted for her black dress, with that being one of the easiest things for her to really move around in, just in case 'no real danger' graduated to 'at least some danger' somewhere along the way.
