"No, it just means 'wood' or 'of the woods'. I must have had ancestors who either lived in the woods or who were woodcutters. Something like that. A lot of common last names in Europe are just the jobs people had or where they were from."

Her late grandfather had some interest in the origins of names. He'd also been a researcher, largely to help her late grandmother understand as many details as possible about her visions. His influence on Tatsumaki showed up now and then. Like now.

"Did you just move here?"
