The time for battle is finally here- while Jonathan flies using the wings of his typical bat form, finding it more likely to be useful than a groundbound boxing sort, Reira finds herself within the bubble of protection Iriceli has created. Over all, Reira's position as momentary support might be preferred- by certain guardians, that is. As it stands she has all four of her sprites with her and within her, a moment of harmony she's only barely able to keep hold of.

"Mnh..." Even from where she is with Iriceli, the Suneater looks tremendous and terrifying- and with all she saw in the outlands, it feels strange to think of it like that. On the one hand it's a dragon. On the other...well, it's very big, and very...dark.

That's probably it. For now she's going to do her best though. "Okay..! Birds!"

She might not be able to really fight, but in the outlands there's all sorts of strange bird-ly creatures she can communicate to with the sprites, and at this point if the sprite of Birds intends to give a bit of extra 'oomph' to keep them on course, it's no trouble at all right? It won't really keep them from getting caught up in the miasma, but as long as they're fighting something on the other side, it works right? She just has to...well. Focus.

Yes.

Jonathan meanwhile, is far from the safety of the bubble. Around him crackle vines filled with hamon, bristling, sparking, angry. It is so bright in his tiny area of sight that it's practically blinding, leaving him giving the occasional clicking squeaking sound to sort out just where on earth he's even headed. There's so much around. So much to avoid.

But if he can find the point of greatest darkness, of greatest mass, he'll have his mark, of that he's certain.
