"Think of it as a metaphor..?" he begins, listening intently. Well, the shoes one certainly makes sense- but he wrinkles his nose a bit at the teeth one. "Mnh! How did it gain such a meaning, though..."

Hmrn. The bear crosses his arms, frowning. "I could, I suppose, think of some....one would be... 'Minu ga Hana'. Or....I suppose, 'looking', or 'hoping', is 'flowers'... It is to say, what you imagine or hope for, will not be what you actually see. Flowers are...'imaginative', and frivolous, and reality will not compare." He just had to pick one of the harder ones to start with, hoof.

Maybe an easier one as well, to balance it. "There is also... ..'Kaeru no ko wa Kaeru'," he adds- the Japanese passing with far more speed and readiness than his English by far. "Or...the Frog's child, is a frog." Like father like son, in other words.
