It's fine Toki. Rex thinks the same and he's a wizard. So when he meets these things he has to stop and rethink, take it apart and analyse. But he has to do it in a way that doesn't hurt Indrik- purely because it could be bad for Rex too if they're tangled up! That's why! It's not because Rex loves his dumb baby moose monster or anything!

He shudders lightly at the memory, not only because of that but because that day was also the deepest he went into the disgusting euphoria of a fight to the death.
