Get In Losers, We're Going Shopping
Who: Grimm and Ekkehardt
What: An attempt to get Ekkehardt out for some R&R and hopefully decompress a little. Cue the shopping montage.
When: Sometime after the Faculty In-Service.
Where: Centre Trois.
Warnings: Terrible fashion decisions.
[From the time Grimm has spent with Ekkehardt, he's known the other man to be incredibly hard working. He may tease the mage about it on occasion but he did genuinely admire the focus it must take to stay on task as much as Ekkehardt did. Although it certainly had its drawbacks.
First was the mission to that museum. From what Grimm understood of the aftermath, there had been some trouble but at the very least nobody died. Yet it was the first time he heard of Ekkehardt shutting himself in his room the second he got back.
Next was whatever happened during the Faculty meeting. Grimm had obligations elsewhere so he could not attend but what he heard later on was certainly...concerning. Both the news delivered and what happened afterwords.
Things were building up to something, something that neither Grimm nor the voice within him could foresee but knew were inevitable in the coming days. Yet it was not something he wanted to focus on for now, however. A break was something everyone needed, particularly his friend.
And that is how both him and Ekkehardt ended up elbows deep in one of the clothing stores within Centre Trois. Shopping for clothing, even if it was just trying to find the ugliest outfit possible, oftentimes made Grimm at least feel a little relaxed. What not many people may know is that Grimm was actually very good at finding outfits. Having done backstage work for years when he first joined the Grimm Troupe certainly helped.
But he is not working. Instead Grimm holds up this "charming" number and looks at Ekkehardt.]
