[Still being a new student here, Desco isn't really knowledgeable of all the ins and outs of the school, especially when it comes to Avery and his traps. So Desco's persistent curiosity and fondness for things that other people might fond creepy or ugly (like thorny vines") proves to be her undoing. She struggles in all manner of ways to get out of the sack, from clawing at it, blasting it, etc, but nothing seems to work at first.
Finally she manages to get free, but by that time Avery's already made his grand entrance. At first Desco starts to cower a bit, but then the gears in her head start turning.]
