Who: Jolyne and Keith [Closed]
When: Evening of June 27th
Where: Probably some secluded area of the school, idk
What: Jolyne's mad and is going to jump someone and beat the shit out of them

Prom had been stuck in her head ever since it'd happened, mostly with good memories and things to mull over. But there was one thing that was stuck in the back of her head that she needed to take care of before summer vacation came around. And that was repaying someone for their absolute bullshit, because Jolyne was vindictive. Pure and simple.

She's quietly stalking around the school, looking for her target and casually following him at a distance until managing to find somewhere more secluded to make her move. Stone Free is casually integrated with her, allowing her some easier movements and will prove to be helpful later.

It takes her no time at all once she deems the location good enough for her to jump him, launching forward to try and get his attention with an enhanced punch for one of his shoulders.

"Guess who, bitch."

[With the Herald of Nightfall due to come fairly soon, prom's already beginning to feel a bit like a distant memory. His days lately have been filled with a lot of last minute adjustments to some basic rune armor that he's gotten from the Anvil as well as sharpening his sword fighting skills against golems and the like at Daybreak's facilities.

Honestly he isn't expecting to be fucking attacked out of nowhere while on campus and though he's quick on his feet, the side step isn't quite fast enough to avoid the punch entirely. The blow connects with the corner of his shoulder and her momentum has him falling backwards. He hits the ground, shoulder throbbing.]

What the fuck, shithead?!

[Perfect. She's actually sneering at him as she's stalking forward as soon as he's on the ground. Of course Jolyne isn't stupid enough to give him any time to move and is just going to try and put her foot into that shoulder to push down and hopefully cause some more pain. She can take her time here, she's sure.]

Surprise, dickhead, I don't forget shit. Not my fault if you didn't keep your goddamned guard up.

[She's shifting around to leverage her weight on that foot and use her other to kick for the side of his ribs. Better think fast, Keith, she's obviously not playing around and this is obviously not a spar.]

[Of all the stupid things to grudgewank over, this is so petty that he's having a hard time believing that's what this whole situation is about. That said, he's coming to grips with that real fast when she digs her foot into his injured shoulder. Pain corkscrews through that joint, and he grits his teeth.]

--the fuck is wrong with you?!

[The words are probably a waste of time. If she's already going this far, she probably means business and he needs to get the fuck off the ground now. He grabs a knife from behind his back, slashing at her ankle. He's hoping that'll get her to take the foot off him as well as throw her off balance with that incoming kick.]

Nothing, nothing at all. [There's a lot wrong with her, actually, not that she's keen on admitting to anything remotely related to it.

But that slash is catching her off guard and she's hissing and trying to move away from it. Luckily, even while getting off balance, Stone Free is quick enough to pull herself away from Jolyne to catch her from falling on her ass.]

You fucking prick! [She's snarling back at him and without another moment the familiar is gone again and that wound is actually being stitched up by something white and she's going to try to crouch down to swipe that knife from him.]

[Sonofabitch of course he's dealing with someone who fucking has bullshit healing powers. With that foot off his shoulder, he's quick to at least sit up, His shoulder is -- yeah, something is pretty fucked up with his shoulder, as moving it's feeling like bone rubbing against bone. It's not something he has the luxury of worrying about at the moment. Jolyne's recovering way too quickly for that.]

Back off you fucking psychopath!

[His grip's tightening around the knife handle because no, he's not going to let her have that. But she swipes at his wrist which pulls at the shoulder badly. Hissing, he drops the knife, but immediately forms a fist with his good hand to try and punch whatever part ofh er body is closest.]

[To his credit, it's less healing and more just temporary stitching, it's still at least cut. It at least keeps her moving while she does her best to ignore any and all pain, which is easy enough when you're used to getting into shit fights like this and driven by nothing but seething anger.]

Wouldn't have happened if you had just shut the fuck up and backed down~ [Why is that almost coo'd? Either way, she's focused on getting that knife out of the equation to the point where she isn't noticing that fist until it's too late and he's getting a nice hit to her chest that's getting her to actually stumble off and back from him.

It should be long enough for him to properly get up while she's catching her breath.]

[Great. While Jolyne's catching her breath Keith gets to his feet, wincing. Fights here are different from the ones he used to get involved in back home because of the magical abilities, but he's been in enough skirmishes to know how to fight.

And right now? He's not going to fuck around trying to reason while unarmed. Jolyne's clearly lost her shit, and he's not interested in taking more of a beating from someone who's not going to back down after getting stabbed.

So she might've gotten the knife away from him, but that's not an issue when your ability is to summon a fucking sword. Bringing his hands together, he pulls a blade out of thin air and steps into a ready stance. So what she's shown him the ability to heal, that's gotta have a limit. And if he has to, he can always bring fire into the equation, though he'd still rather not.]

Back off or I'll fucking slice you.

[Once she's finally catching herself back up, she's standing properly again and cracking her neck. He thinks he's a threat to her? Pft, that's hilarious to her.]

You think that's going to stop me? Goddamn, you really have no idea what you're getting into. [Shut up. She's stretching for a brief moment and muttering something inaudible under her breath.

Hopefully Keith kind of remembered the whole strings incident at prom, because otherwise he might be in trouble if he's not quick enough to get away from them trying to get to his wrists.]

Punching isn't the only thing I can do, dipshit.

[This would've absolutely caught him off guard had he not seen her work with the DJ at prom, but he knows she's got some mid-lonng range combat abilities and as those strings come hurtling, he takes a few quick one-handed swings at them with his sword. Bless being ambidextrous otherwise he'd be royally fucked. Or maybe he's still royally fucked, who knows.]

[Hopefully her hiss of pain and those strings immediately being returned gives him enough information that that shit is actually attached to her and that does hurt.

But it seems she's done talking for now as she's lunging for him to go directly for the face, while she's moving, her familiar is once again moving from her to move around Keith to grab for the hand holding the sword.

This might as well be her signature at this point.]

[Whatever relief he gets out of the strings being pulled back is incredibly short lived as Jolyne's got way too many fucking hands right now. God. He's heard at least two different people telling him to quit fucking around in fights and actually fight with the fire if he intends to fight, and both times he's kinda just brushed that off with "yeah yeah, sure sure" instead of actually addressing what the fucking issue was. \

But that sure is Jolyne gearing up to break his face and something trying to grab at his wrist and right now is definitely not the time to be dealing with emotional baggage from ten years ago.

The blade ignites, and snarling, he slashes horizontally, sending a burst of flames straight towards Jolyne.]

[Congrats, Keith, that's mostly the right answer.

Because she's kind of still more flammable than a normal human and for good reason, enough to where she's kind of on fire now and backing way the fuck up while her body and brain are trying to figure out the difference between what to do and panicking like a motherfucker.

Stone Free is looking about as concerned even with the sunglasses and is just going right back to Jolyne to disappear again.

Good shit, enjoy it.]

[A burst of water slams into both Jolyne and Keith, drenching them. This is followed by a burst of ice at both of their feet to freeze them to the ground]

Hey! What the hell are you doing!?

[Aaaand that's Jolyne going up in flames like she bathes in gasoline or something, and Keith's just staring at the inferno in horror. It's great that Snow arrives when he does because this kid not put out fires he causes.

But that also means now he is frozen to the ground, can't move his right arm without his shoulder crying bloody murder and is soaking wet to boot. Life is so dandy. The flames on his sword are gone, but it's not stopping him from attempting to hack away at the ice.]

The psycho fucking jumped me!

[Oh good, you know, being soaked is better than being on fucking fire. It takes her a minute or two to get her bearings and to realize shit's okay, lovely.]

You deserved it, you bastard! [She's snapping right back, just... ignore the burns, this is fine. She seems mostly okay, who even knows. Some nastier parts have string pulling them back together, so hey.]

Hey hey, none of this! You'll each get your chance to talk.

[ Snow fishes in his somewhat shabby coat and pulls out a coin, which he flips ]

Keith, you tell your side first. Jolyne, you go next. No interrupting each other.

[Despite there being way too much adrenaline in his system to actually manage any degree of chill, Keith fights to repress the need to keep shouting obscenities about Jolyne because his headspace is nothing but a chorus of fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck.

But he's not interested in fighting anymore, so he vanishes the sword, but not having it to hold onto only makes him clench and unclench his good fist repeatedly. He takes several deep breaths before answering Snow.]

Look, I don't know what the fuck is going on with Strings. As far as I can tell, she lost her shit because I flipped her off at prom after she fucking hit the back of my head. Said I was yelling at Toki when Toki was the one yelling at me. Make her make sense of that crap, I got nothing.

[Deep breath.]

I was minding my own business when she jumped me just now. Told her to back off repeatedly, her fault for not taking the hint.

If fightin's the only way you'll be satisfied, fine, I get that, but keep it clean so there are no hard feelings or lost limbs.

[ He pauses for a bit ]

Better let one of us know too. You two are scrappy and I don't want any serious injuries.

I don't want to fucking fight her! I want her to leave me the fuck alone so tell her to stop assaulting me!

[GOD. Right about now is when he'd be storming off, but hm. Still frozen in place.]

I DIDN'T SET YOU ON FUCKING FIRE, ASSHOLE. SO MAYBE FUCK OFF. [Oh boy, here comes the yelling again and she's completely ignoring Snow here.]

Maybe don't be a fucking pussy next time by pulling out a weapon and use your fists, bitch. [Maybe she should stop goading him. Probably won't.]

[Yeah OK this isn't gonna get better. Snow snaps his fingers, causing the ice to dissolve before reaching out and bodily picking up both unruly teens by the scruff of the neck, lifting them off the ground ]

All arguing aside, c'mon. We'll get you both checked out.

[Snow will proceed to carry them to the infirmary - he's not above freezing their mouths shut either if they still can't play nice]

[ He's in the infirmary like always. He doesn't even seem surprised when Snow comes in carrying two struggling teenagers. ]

Mr Villiers...carrying Keith and Jolyne. Good evening to all three of you.

Should I be putting these two in separate rooms for treatment, then? [ They both look fairly banged up, so he might have to keep them overnight. That depends on the severity of the injuries, though. ]

[Jesus fucking christ this is humiliating. He's quiet for the duration fo being carried over to the infirmary, but he can't help piping up at that.]

Is that even a question.

[Oh boy, she's just absolutely fucking fuming. Given that and the way she's actually snapping, is probably a good indication there.]

Shut the fuck up, bitch. [Jolyne, no.]

Generally, most students have cooled off enough by the time they've had their fights that I can safely put them in the normal beds.

You two appear to be exceptions.

[ He tugs at his sleeves, the bandages around his arms unwinding as they spring to life. ]

Can you walk to your rooms yourselves, or will I have to carry you? I'm sure your dignity would prefer the former, but if you try to break things in here, I'll have to resort to the latter.

[Help him he's biting back So Many Words and glaring at Jolyne like he can punch her with his mind--

But okay. He will offer a very flat:]

I can walk. Strings got stabbed in the ankle. You should carry her to be safe.

[Look how helpful he's being :D]

[She's bristling again and huffing loudly.]

I can walk just fine. [She's a stubborn bitch, that and at least the strings there have still held despite the whole fire bullshit.]

'Sides, Stone Free's got me if I need it.

Very well. [ He waits for Snow to put them down before indicating two of the closed doors down the hall, which slide open noiselessly. ] If you're in danger of falling, I will have to support you to make sure you don't hurt yourself further.

But I can't say I don't respect your determination. [ He sounds faintly amused. ]

Sure sure, no problem.

[Snow walks over to one door and bodily throws Jolyne in, before moving to the other and launching Keith. If there's a bed in there he will at least throw them on it with reasonably good aim, so longas they don't squirm]

[Okay, not gonna lie. He'd be way more amused about Jolyne getting her ass punted into bed, but the joy is pretty much sucke right out of him when it's his turn to be launched into bed and he ends up rolling a little onto his fucked up shoulder.

The infirmary is getting treated to the loudest yelp right now.]

--FUCK!

[She'd be laughing if she hadn't been a dumb-ass that tried to break her fall with her arms. Which are, uh, pretty goddamned burned and the second they have pressure on them and anything touching them is a hell of a cry of actual pain.

Well, so much for acting tough, she guesses.]

I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU, KEITH, I SWEAR TO FUCK. [Stop.]

[Welp. Best leave this to more experienced hands. He gives Ekkehardt a friendly (if not perhaps a little too hard) clap on the back]
