The top brass at the UN already worked out the details with your headmaster, so this is really just a heads up. After the disaster at Perth, SOME nations are actually interested in listening to you guys. They've sent a few experts each to study at Daybreak until this whole Nightfall mess is over with.

They've also sent me, as like...a baby sitter, I guess? I've actually had a fair amount of personal experience with the kind of stuff you guys deal with, unlike most of the suits that'll be showing up with me, so I'll make sure none of them get eaten by daemons or start taking blurry photos of non-human students and post them on facebook or anything stupid like that.

You guys are supposed to be the best in the business, though, so this shouldn't be too hard, right?

A bus full of specialists and agents from various nations across the world arrived via chartered bus at Daybreak's campus to get enrolled as temporary students and absorb as much of this nonsense as they could as quickly as possible. They were mostly serious looking men and women in somber suits. Most of them looked various levels of cynical and unimpressed as they arrived. Most of them had never ACTUALLY seen anything supernatural, and considered the whole thing a waste of time, at least until a group of golems arrived to help carry luggage to their temporary accommodations, which raised a fair amount of surprise and consternation among the group.

One of them definitely stood out, though. He was tall, at least six feet. His suit was ostentatious with purple and yellow highlights. Also he had arrived by motorcycle right behind the bus, rather than riding on it. His bike had a couple of luggage cases strapped to the back, including a guitar case.

Josuke pulled his helmet off after coming to a stop, and ignored everything going on around him in favor of IMMEDIATELY peering into his own side mirror so he could fix his hair back into an elaborate pompadour right out of the late 50s.

Only once that was dealt with did he deign to pay attention to any kind of welcome committee.

"Yo! This is the UN delegation! I'm Josuke!"

Oh no, that noise sounds horrid and Jolyne has been unfortunate enough to be not too far away from where this damn bus is rolling up. She's already bristling given she doesn't like the looks of these guys.

The second the motorcycle arrives she's turning her attention towards it and immediately frowning once that helmet comes off. God. Dammit.

And then comes the introduction and she's groaning from her spot leaning against a wall not too far away with Stone Free next to her.

"Oh my god. You are not making any friends yelling out that shit."

"You think it would have gone over better if I'd called them a crew?"

He waved her concern off. "There might be some tension at first but it'll be fine. Nice to see you too, by the way."

She's huffing a bit at his words, hands immediately on her hips after she pushes herself off the wall to move towards him, Stand ever in her shadow.

"Mostly everyone isn't fond of the UN from what I hear. And the fuck they put you in charge for? Jeeze."

"I'm not really in charge? I've just got more experience with ghosts and crap than all of them put together."

Crazy Diamond was no where to be seen, for now.

"I would fucking hope you have more experience than these lame looking dipshits."

She's grinning now, though, and just casually pausing in front of him. "How long do I get to have grunkle Josuke for, huh?" Nerd.

The noise had gotten Lia's attention as she'd been wandering back from the library, so naturally, she just had to investigate.

"UN delegation?" Since when was that a thing? But... Hm. Well. These folks sure weren't going to be too popular with most of the people here after the Herald mess.

Reira is not a welcoming committee. Reira is just some kid who doesn't know how vacation works, and wants to look at the cool motorcycle. Also the cool bus. But mostly the cool motorcycle now that she's looked behind said bus, and noticed it.

[Someone who's probably being stared at is Cat Dancer, who's accompanying Serena on a light jog. She seems more amused by the looks than anything, waving a finger chidingly in their direction.]

My, it's like they've never seen a giant cat woman before. Do you think that could be the case, Serena?

Almost certainly. Remember, just because I grew up with the supernatural doesn't mean there aren't those from outside the masquerade.

"They're just trying to do their jobs." Josuke interjected, though he leaned in closer to her to add on "They are pretty lame looking, though."

He was also grinning. He'd always gotten on better with Jolyne than her father had. "You're stuck with me until Nightfall is 'dealt with' and don't call me grunkle. That's a TERRIBLE word."

"That's the idea! I figure with this, at least the big men making decisions will be ignoring experts who actually know what they're doing, rather than ignoring experts who are just as out of the loop as they are."

Josuke pointed at the guys coming off the bus. "That is."

[unpunchman]

[Josuke stood between the wildly pointing and gesticulating government agents from many governments and Cat Dancer, calm. This was probably nothing to worry about, but a very faint glow about Josuke seemed to suggest he was taking the situation seriously.]

I mean, I've been up to my neck in this crap for ten years now, and I don't think I've ever seen a giant cat woman before either.

You haven't? Well now, I certainly feel special.

Hah... Either way, we should introduce ourselves. My name is Serena, you may or may not know me as Ray's daughter.

I'm called Cat Dancer, I am my dear Serena's Familiar. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, as well as that of your accompaniment.

Oh yeah, that decision made a lot of people mad over here too. There's been a lot of arguing going on by very important people.

[Kokoro was standing at the side of the steps, frowning seriously right back at the UN delegation, but once Josuke starts his "greeting"... Well, she can't help but make a confused face.]

[Josuke looked back and forth between Cat Dancer and the agent behind him, then gave her a meaningful look. She shook her head quickly, with wide eyes. He took a moment to be grateful that Crazy Diamond didn't talk.]

I can see this is gonna be a complicated job...

Just so long as you don't hurt any of them and they don't hurt you, I'm happy.

[Not quite sure why she looks confused. He felt that he was perfectly clear!]

"Well, luck does favor the prepared, at least..." She glances between Josuke and the more plain-looking bunch and then back again, tilting her head. "I guess you're the one corralling this bunch?"

Yes, why don't we leave the agents to their business, and not bother them any more than is necessary? Doesn't that sound like a good idea, Cat Dancer?

I get it, no disturbing the agents for my own amusement.

Oh, she's biting back a laugh at that comment. Goddammit, Josuke, she will sit here all day and drag these fuckers if you let her.

But back to the matter at hand, probably. "It's shorter than saying "grand uncle" all the goddamned time, come on." Oh, right, she's also not sure if he's heard shit since last time they said anything.
