Rex knows that one. It's hard being the smart guy logic man and also... not, all the time. Being able to think of so many variables just means you can think of all the ways you could have gotten a new result in the past, but you can't do anything about that now can you? Just let the stain fade, but never disappear.

It seems so incredibly awful now they've had that moment Rex rubs repeatedly at his cheek and seems to have looped right back into embarrassment. Though now it's more actively his own damn fault, but he does relent and mumble out his planned dare.
