Dragon hunting

Who: Kisara and those wanting to save her I guess
Where: A secluded area of Romania (specifically near Bukovina)
When: Some time around the 8th-10th
What: Some little clues lead towards a group that hails from this particular part of Romania and where Kisara's probably being hidden. Or, at least, somewhere in that area.
Warnings: Very possible death stuff whether in words or flashbacks, both dragon and human.

Of course it'd be Romania that still had hunter groups that focused particularly on dragons and it wasn't really all that uncommon of knowledge that they still went after them where they could. It was easier to go after particular ones that to get involved with clans of dragons at this point, which going after a solitary one had seemed like the smartest answer to them.

What they hadn't expected was for anyone to really notice as their jobs were particularly clean and usually carried out in a matter of days, if not hours.

Which would explain why the area most known for them would be more of a countryside than anything else, little villages that seemed pretty stuck in time, peppering the landscape and little being said to anyone from outside the area. Time hadn't worn on them well simply due to the history of the country and the history of half of the area being considering Ukrainian and the other part still under Romania.

At least the people were out and about most of the time, so you never know unless you ask, right?

Once the group was gathered and the location narrowed down, the vampire made a very obvious face of displeasure, and there's a sourness that stayed even when arriving, but with a sigh, he will act as a translator of sorts, while he didn't know Romania, and there's a far amount of them who may know English, he has at least fluency in French, Italian, and German, and enough Russian to ask if they can be pointed to someone who can speak any of the four he's at least conversational in.

"I should have known it would lead us here, given this country's history with Dragons..." There was a long sigh. "Well, I'll be asking around if they seen anything unusual." Though with some caution, given how some villages seem to be timeless, the old superstitions may linger.

[Meanwhile Keith is absolutely not familiar with the local language or any related language, and is merely looking around irritably at the locals. The wolf is with him, but wearing a collar that's been charmed to disguise his buddy as a husky.]

Don't know anything about the lore here.

[And frankly, he's not that interesed in a history lesson right now.]

Gonna see if Cosmo can pick up a scent.

]Kneeling down, he'll give the wolf a pat.]

He nods to Keith. "The region's lores I am most familiar with, further south," Transylvania to be exact. Mulling over his options, he does approach some of the ones that seem to be taking their time, knowing he'd be brushed off if he approached the ones busy, looking for one that seem especially inquisitive or bright-eyed, the ones most likely to notice anything's odd. "I'll be asking around, keep the phone handy in case something happens."

Once he finds people that both speaks a shared language and didn't mind questions from a stranger, he starts, putting on the charm and a professional, yet urgent air. A believable little lie with a mix of truth, that he's looking for a kidnapped girl - a grieving widower hired him to find his only family left and the trail lead them there, and if they had noticed any unusual activity? Rest assure, strict confidentiality, no one will know who said what, so no worry about getting attention if they're concerned about it.

[Keith's well aware that any attempt he'd make to speak to the locals is more than likely not going to be a diplmatic success and thus lets Sherlock do all of the talking and nods at the instructions he's given.]

Let me know if you need anything.

[Meanwhile when the wolf isn't able to lock onto a particularly dragon-y scent, he returns to Keith's side. While giving the good doggo a reassuring earskritch, he's keeping an eye out for any people or places that look suspicious.]

"Where would I find them Miss?" He asks softly. "Even if it seems like a long shot, I would need to follow up on even the most unlikely of leads," The man gave a wry, close-lipped smile, of a man who knew his job was a hard one but finds reward in it nonetheless.

Once he received his answer, he'll thank the young woman and return to Keith.

"Thank you," He gives a nod. "I shall pay a visit if they're willing to hear me out, take care, Miss." He gives another close-lipped smile before parting, going to find Keith, and relating what he learned.

"The inn down the road seems to be our best lead for finding Miss Kisara. Let's be prepared for trouble."
