She was so excited she thought she might explode. Of course, it was too soon to say they were in love with each other, right? It had only been a couple of weeks since they'd met!

But...looking at him now, seeing the same nervous excitement on his face that she was sure was written all over hers...knowing how much she admired his bravery and goodness, how much she trusted him...

"Okay," she agreed, and that felt like the right thing to say. She actually felt confident about it, and completely unafraid. However things worked out between them, she didn't think they'd lose that trust and care for each other. He was still her friend.
