Oh, yes. Instrumental music is interesting, now that I think of it. It doesn't have the same sharpness as the written or spoken word has. By nature, it can't cut. However, it isn't powerless... It rouses the mind on a far more basic level - where words stimulate both thoughts and feelings of the recipient, instrumentals operate solely on the feelings level. It can be very powerful. Marching bands are a good example!

[ But that's getting totally off-topic already... Miach seems to realize this, as she takes a quick break from talking and adjusts her course. ]

It's also nice for dealing with your own thoughts. I like to read, but I don't like to write. Music is the other way around... it's a little difficult for me to listen to passively, but I like participating.
