That was the one thing she was most worried about. His uncle had seemed okay before she toppled over, but she didn't see the aftermath or hear what his uncle had to say. She relaxed, her smile gentle as she shook her head.

"You saved him too. I couldn't have done that on my own." She was sure he would have lost control and started thrashing before she could finish reverting the transformation, not to mention their teamwork to pull off the mask.

She eased herself back down, still weary, and turned onto her side so she could still face him as they spoke.

"I'm relieved, though. Thank you for looking after me."
