it's been one heck of a week
Who: Rebecca and anyone
What: Becky's being Becky.
Where: varies by prompt
When: December 9th through 16th, or December 17th onward for the wildcard
Warnings: possible discussion of recent player plot events in A or B
A: (December 9–14, late afternoon/early evening, infirmary, open)
[Recent events had guaranteed that there was no shortage of work to be done this week. While the more-pressing tasks were handled by the others, Becky still had her own tasks to perform here, checking on people to see how they were doing, bringing snacks to those who wanted any, and offering to let them take her hands and borrow her power for a few moments if they wanted or needed an extra push while on the road to recovery. If any wanted her to stay and talk for a bit, she would.
She never came in unannounced, though, giving any given door—regardless of whether it was closed or open—a couple knocks before walking in.]
Hey, just checking to see how things are going. Need anything while I'm here?
B: (December 11, evening, Lumière 403 w/ Lia)
[Becky was more than aware that Lia had been involved in one of the recent incidents. Lia herself had some burns that were pretty easily dealt with (by Becky herself, even), but one of the other students that Lia had accompanied on her mission had been hurt—badly—and a third of the students who had been there was refusing to spend any more time away from the infirmary and that second student than she absolutely had to.
On one evening a few days after it had happened, she knew that Lia might not want to talk specifically about what had happened, but she decided to make a showing of support regardless, in the way she knew how. After spending some time poring over some notes for one of her classes, she scooted her chair back and turned to face toward Lia's side of the room.]
So, hey, Lia. Wanna talk for a bit?
C: (December 16, afternoon, Lumière, open)
[The idea of Lia being out on another mission so soon after the last one made Becky feel a little nervous. She responded to that feeling in pretty much the same way some of the other students did: burying herself in baking. Mostly (but not only) peanut butter cookies, since that felt like her major Thing when it came to making stuff, though most of them this time were intended for Lia and the team she went with, whenever they got back.
That didn't mean that the other residents of Lumière as a whole couldn't go and see what she was up to, and also didn't mean that she wasn't going to spare at least some of what she was working on for anyone that paid her a visit.]
D: (December 17th onward, wildcard)
[Got your own ideas? Hit me up on the game's Discord or just go for it.]

Still, he's got bodyguards and she can't be with him every moment anyway, so here she is, finishing up some of her homework.]
Huh? [And then the question actually registers. She seems pretty grateful for the excuse to toss her notebook aside.] Sure thing, what's up?

This week's been a whole lot.

[She leans back with a quiet groan.]
The stuff with Gunvolt really got to me, but that's probably been pretty obvious... It's had me worrying about other people being in danger around here.
[Which... probably explains her choice in company recently, really.]

Lia's own being at risk due to the things she'd seen, as well as the possibility of Becky being at risk herself due to the clan her parents are a part of, it's entirely possible that those are both also factors here.]
Got anything you wanna do or talk about to get away from it for a bit? Or hell, if you want to talk about it, I'm here. [Becky's really expecting Lia to go for the distraction, but if Lia needs to actually get it out instead, well, she can listen.]

Becky, how many folks do you think around here are plagued with troubles caused by... y'know, someone who's human?
[There's her, of course, with Bloodworth; there's the man who'd been forcing Akechi to do his dirty work... Whoever shot Gunvolt, presumably...]

[The question itself is some awfully familiar territory, so now she's really paying attention.]
I'm not gonna try to aim for any specific numbers or anything yet, but it's probably more than just a few.

Cookies? For a holiday party, I presume?

I'm pretty sure I'll have more than enough, so you could take a couple cookies if you want. Most of 'em are peanut butter, but I've got some other kinds there too. [They're mostly the typical sorts.]

I think you might've gotten things a little mixed up. Lia left with a couple of the professors and a bunch of her friends today to go deal with something, this isn't about the other thing that happened earlier in the month.
Though uh, I have been making extra stuff for anyone that's still being holed up in the infirmary, too.

[She flails a little and crosses her arms.]
It's not even just that, I mean -- [cough] All kinds of things have been going on the past few months. I fear it may be an ill omen, even if most of it turned out well.
no subject
You're right that there's been kind of a lot going on, though.
[She's hoping that none of the team her roommate left with comes back with any particularly serious injuries. The rest of this month not having any major incidents would be nice too, but she knows what the chances of that are already.]
