Who: Nines, anyone who runs into him
What: So thanks mostly to Lia, Nines is now working at the Academy! His luggage is 80% computers by volume and he is a tiny shrimp.

[He still can't really believed he agreed to this, but, well. Lia made several good points and if some of his trackers were right, it's possible YoRHa had managed to track him down so....honestly going to Europe? Not the worst idea he's ever had.

That would belong to "refusing to call ahead and arrange for help getting his luggage up to his assigned dorm because his luggage is mostly computers and he doesn't trust people to carry them". Despite being 5'2". In his boots. And having the physical strength of a particularly weak child. His rideshare at least got them out of the car, but now he's standing in the middle of the academy grounds, staring at the map of the academy on his phone and wondering how the hells he's going to get 100+ pounds of computer up to the fourth floor.]

[She nods and books it down the road. A bit later, she comes back down the road, toting two luggage carts, one behind each hand.]

You said you wished to avoid those big plastic tubs, so I should hope these will do...

They'll be fine. I have straps, if we end up needing them or something.

[He came mostly prepared, okay.

[A pause as Nines tries to make sense of any of that.]

I don't know what any of that means. [He gestures to his computers.] I can make computers do what I want without touching them and I blast people with psychic energy.

[Raised ignorant? A Candle, probably. Kokoro rubs the back of her head.]

Your abilities sound impressive. Not to worry; we have a good population of Candles, so the faculty are well-practised in getting people up to speed at this point. A Hunter is simply that; one who hunts those who would pose a threat to creation. Such as a monster -- or, in fact, a human -- that's been terrorizing a populace. And Rune Guard use Rune Armours and similar magitek to fight on a larger scale.

[Ha! He wishes.]

Right. And what's a Candle?

[Sure, he read the stuff Lia gave him on the school but it's been a rough month or so and look he's tired already.]

Candles are the new ability users who have been emerging from the unaware populace in recent years. Their abilities are wide and varied, and most of them, as I mentioned, were civilians beforehand, with no supernatural lineage or background. So a good number of the population coming in here suddenly had to be taught the basics.

[Yeah, that's not him, but whatever. Time to focus on getting his computers on the carts.]

What's with the scarf?

...perhaps it is not the most suited to summer, but I'm used to it. And besides, we are in the mountains. It still snows if you go up high enough.

And it's still kinda warm for a scarf like that down here, but whatever.

Pretty sure they can't do anything for a poisoned stab wound that's already been treated.

[He's still not used to Lia caring, and she's the reason he's here at all, so some random girl is...even more "why" inducing.]

[she mutters, but lets it go. Still, she isn't walking away.]

[That makes him pause.]

The map on the stuff Lia sent said it was that building, right?

[He points to the correct dorm, at least?]

Though I don't know how up-to-date that map is.

Yes, it's right that way. There are a lot of buildings on campus, so sometimes people get lost at first.

Great.

[He will...probably get lost a lot until he gets a better GPS app, not gonna lie. But whatever, that is a problem for future Nines.]
