{Proposal: Apply at Daybreak Academy} [open]
Who: Nines, anyone who runs into him
What: So thanks mostly to Lia, Nines is now working at the Academy! His luggage is 80% computers by volume and he is a tiny shrimp.
Where: Lumiere Dorms mostly
When: Early August
Warnings: None planned, but 9S does have his own warnings that can come up!
[He still can't really believed he agreed to this, but, well. Lia made several good points and if some of his trackers were right, it's possible YoRHa had managed to track him down so....honestly going to Europe? Not the worst idea he's ever had.
That would belong to "refusing to call ahead and arrange for help getting his luggage up to his assigned dorm because his luggage is mostly computers and he doesn't trust people to carry them". Despite being 5'2". In his boots. And having the physical strength of a particularly weak child. His rideshare at least got them out of the car, but now he's standing in the middle of the academy grounds, staring at the map of the academy on his phone and wondering how the hells he's going to get 100+ pounds of computer up to the fourth floor.]

Point is, I wasn't gonna keep something like that from someone it was potentially relevant to.

And at this point, they're reaching the building. The girl goes on ahead to make sure that the door stays open for the others to get through with that cart, and soon enough it'll be time to take the elevator. Again.
She debates telling them that she'll take the stairs and meet them up there, and she decides against it, sticking by them once they're inside instead of heading off in her own direction.]

[Nines is just arguing to argue at this point, really, and he does remember to maybe be polite and thank Becky when she gets the door for them. It's just a muttered "thanks" but hey.]
What room are you two in, anyway?
no subject
We're right next door to you in 403!

Instead, she follows up Lia's answer to point something else out:]
There's only a couple other people on our floor right now, so we've pretty much taken over the floor's kitchen area. [Because cooking club things, plus anything they decide to do on the side.] If you see anything in the fridge that doesn't have a label on it saying who or what it's for, it's probably fair game. Ask if you're not sure.

[Someone has a weird food allergy, okay.]

[And to Nines--]
Long story short, she was experimenting with a recipe and stuck the unlabeled results in the fridge. The next time I wanted to eat something but didn't feel like cooking, I'd grabbed it and, thinking it was fine because there wasn't a particular label on it, I decided to take a bite. I had many regrets.

[A pause.]
Just thinking about it right now makes me think it'd probably be better if I just didn't do spicy stuff. The cookies get way better reception from most people, anyway.
no subject
[But also cookies are always a safe bet, yeah.]
no subject
[Ah, well.
To Becky:]
I mean, it's fine with the labels anyway.

So basically, you're gonna want to think twice about anything that's got the red stickers. Anything that's got orange on it won't be as bad but still might be kinda up there, and anything with a black one is something I made for myself and you'll probably spontaneously combust or something if you try it.

[He kinda wants to see how crazy this shit actually is.]
no subject
[Whoop, hitting the button for the elevator now.]

You've never been curious to see just how spicy you make things?
no subject
I mean, I've certainly been wondering...
no subject
We can look into it after we're done with this stuff, 'kay?
[Lia might have been wondering, but Becky doesn't recall actually being asked about it before now.]
Though if you want a guess based on some of the stuff I use, probably somewhere in the upper 200ks on average, maybe 300? It's pretty hot but not like completely insane, because even I'm not stupid enough to go for ghost peppers or worse.
no subject
[Nines no.]
Not that I can eat anything near that spicy, but...
no subject
[pls]
I'd call that being sensible, personally...
[And there's the elevator, so Lia's carefully maneuvering the cart inside.]
