He can run so much faster than her, but he can only sprint around for so long and it's starting to take its toll, exhaustion crashing back over him. It helps to keep him from getting too far ahead, even if he doesn't anchor himself to her by taking her hand. It would be better for her to enjoy the freedom her hands had once more.
"Further in! That room you were cuffed outside of!" As for him being okay... He'd been yelling, but he'd sounded weak and shaken, and there was that memory of the soft rattle and Sherlock saying unpersoned arm. It isn't something he can promise, especially if he was still locked away.

"Wait! Cliff, wait!" If he were anyone else, she'd reach out for his arm. She almost does.
"That guard, he made us stop by that door. He had a key, a magic one of some kind. He left me for a while to get it to De La Cruz." She can't believe she's saying this. It pains her to say it. But... "We need to go find him first. We don't want to draw any attention to the door before we can get Papá out. And we need to gather the others so we can all go."
And she knows she's going to lose all composure once she reaches her father. She already feels her eyes welling but she fights to keep the tears back.
"Something's still trying to make us all forget. I don't know what magic he has besides the key. Maybe if we unlock the door..." She doesn't know. It doesn't sound right but she doesn't know what else to do.

Right. Not just the key, but there were the others to think about... He doesn't know how their mission is going. He doesn't know if they've run into more magical means of stopping them, or what sort of barriers could still be thrown in their way if that man wasn't dealt with. He takes the opportunity to gather a few deeper, much-needed breaths before catching Coco up to speed.
"It was just three of us. Everyone else went to make sure we could go looking for you without him catching us... Mr. Holmes was still with your dad when I left, and -- and Tobias went after the key, I think."
Which could be good or bad, depending on the rest of the group. Cliff waits expectantly, ready to take any direction she gives, though the moment of pause is letting everything catch up with him and start settling in his limbs. Much as he'd absolutely hate admitting it, he's starting to run out of juice thanks to all the activity chipping away at his already depleted energy reserves. Her telling him what to do is his best shot at getting anything done.

Though, if they hadn't she wonders if they would've found Papá. She pulls a breath and tries to compose herself. The way Mamá would.
"We should see if we can help Tobias and the others. Let's go this way. I think I could hear the concert from there."
She wipes at her eyes and then starts to run again.

Noise was indeed a little louder from the direction she wants to go, whether that's a distance thing or a soundproofing issue. There wasn't some wolfish scent leading this way by any chance, too, was there?
