[These past few months have been insane for Emille. Ever since the Dragon daemon Sleepy Hollow appeared in Lebanon, things have gradually and continually tumbled out of control. After finding herself marked twice at the end of August, she fell into a month-long slumber as her body and mind fought being taken over by both a Herald and... something else. It was only through the spiritual barrier her sister Aitelle protected her with that she managed to remain in a coma-like stasis.
However, Emille was far from asleep during that span of time. She heard and saw many things -- important things that could change the course of everything. Not that the course of everything hasn't already been turned upside-down enough lately.
Emille woke up with a jolt on the night of October 1, as the full moon reached its apex in the sky above the Academy. Since then, throughout the month of October, she has been scurrying around with a rushed purpose, obviously intent on fulfilling something and quickly. Even so, she is still able to keep herself looking spotless and neat -- save for the extra red around her eyes, and the left hand that she keeps bandaged and, uhm, it's still slightly glowing purple through the bandages.
The following prompts are snippets of what Emille's been up to this month.]
A. Infirmary freak out
[Because Emille had spent her stasis period in her dorm room, she knows someone from the infirmary staff will want to look her over, so today she's preemptively making a visit so she can get on with all the things she needs to do.
It's when she arrives that she notices something terrible has happened. Her eyes widen when she sees that there's a waiting line to get into the infirmary, just like the last time she had been here. Except these people don't seem to be strangely marked, but battered and wounded...
Emille feels a panic rise up inside, causing her to ask:] What happened here? [This is followed by a hurried attempt to see through the crowd into the infirmary, but her height disadvantage makes it impossible for her to see anything. She keeps trying to push her way through, barking small snippets of commands the entire time.] Excuse me, students. I am an Academy faculty member. Please let me into the infirmary. I need to see what is going on.
[She's making quite a scene, but she never allows herself to show any real fear, even when students begin to scowl and grumble at the pushy woman. Will someone let her know that she somehow slept through a Herald attack?]

Greetings, students and colleagues. I have come into the knowledge that a Herald was successfully defeated by your combined efforts last month. Congratulations to all of you for holding off Nightfall once again.
I apologize that I was unable to join you in your struggle, but I was incapacitated. During that time, however, I learned of matters of great importance that I must share with you all. It may come as heavy and frightening to some of you, but I ask that you do not panic. We must remain collected through this, as the war for Nightfall has not yet concluded.
The Dragon daemon from a few months ago was not the only Dragon interested in attacking us at this time. No, it seems that another, more powerful Dragon is preparing to make himself known to our world now that the Veil has been broken. How do I know this? He spoke to me himself in the midst of my dreams, and told me to warn you of these things. He is the Curse God Fomalhaut, and he wishes to bring all of us into hopelessness and despair so he may feed on our darkened souls and gain entropy, allowing him to live forever.
Fellow members of Daybreak Academy: do not let Fomalhaut's threats get to you! These words are, for now, mere words. Unfortunately, there is no doubt that he is coming. However, there is a light in this bleak future, and it was told to me by others in my dream. Dragon daemons have a weakness other than Radiance, and it may even be tied to Radiance itself: the mythical metal known as Orichalcum. It is imperative that we find a source of Orichalcum and fashion it into a weapon. This is our brightest hope against the Dragon threat.
If anyone has any information on Orichalcum, please inform me immediately. Or, if anyone knows anything about crafting weapons, please also make yourselves known to me.
Also, I will be uploading the dream I had to the Cassandra system tomorrow for safe-keeping. I merely hoped to forewarn you of what will be revealed, as well as strengthen your resolve and willpower against the bleak vision. Our time is running thin, but I know that we can bring ourselves to victory once again. Thank you.

C. Daemon Biology class
[Emille, as always, is standing on her box behind the podium in the front of the lab classroom, with a screen pulled down behind her. On that screen are multiple images of plants, stones, and other strange items.]
Welcome back to Daemon Biology, students. Today we will be discussing items, magics, and other things that are weaknesses to daemons. Just like humans, daemons have certain things that they avoid out of fear of pain or merely out of hatred. One of our strongest weapons against daemons here at Daybreak Academy is in the hands of our numerous Candles; namely, Radiance. Many daemons affected by the Blight of the Outlands are highly susceptible to being burned by it. This burn is no mere sunburn. It quickly melts through the skin layer down to the muscles underneath, if they have any.
Additional weaknesses include lycanthropes supposedly being affected by the metal silver, as well as Dragon daemons being weakened by Orichalcum. [Of course she was going to mention it.] Other daemons with particular magical elemental affinities tend to have one element that they excel in and another that harms them more than others. Most daemons have at least one weakness.
I am sure there are other examples of daemon weaknesses. Does anyone here wish to speak on their experiences or knowledge of such things? Even mythological or folklore hearsay will suffice.
D. Library research
[When Emille isn't in the classroom or in her lab, she's most likely found in the Hall of Pythia. Her current stack of books is comprised of works on metals in mythology, weaponsmithing, and... the civilization of Atlantis? Daemon species with feline traits? Uh...
She can be found leafing through the books, making notes in her notebook as she goes along. If not to ask about her books, this would also be a good time to ask about her left hand being bandaged up and emanating purple, or any one-on-one questions about... all of this. This is basically a wildcard prompt in a set location.]
