[ Kano has no problem with walking quickly, trusting Imelda to keep the hood over her eyes and only be able to tell where they're going by context clues- the way their footsteps fall from pavement to uneven stone, how the wind cuts off and they're apparently indoors somewhere, a gentle downward slope during which Kano slows a little to make sure Imelda doesn't slip, and then darkness so that it doesn't really matter whether Imelda peeks or not.
The entire time, he hums tunelessly next to her, just as an added indication that he's still there, outside of the hand that urges her along, and eventually- close to fifteen, twenty minutes- he slows to a stop. ]
