Who: Hieke & You
What: Infirmary catch-all & a call for help
Where: The infirmary & elsewhere on campus
When: February
Warnings: Potential discussions of injury, probably.
a; the necessities
[The infirmary has seen a lot in the first month of the quarter alone - friends were born here and eventually taken away, people have been sick and injured and that's not even including the injuries people didn't go to the infirmary for. But come February, Hieke is a little bit more prepared for things. The infirmary is kept as tidy as ever, and he's even decorated for the holiday!
There are vases filled with flowers on his desk, and he's awkwardly taped some heart shaped decor to the wall. There was an attempt and that accounts for everything, even if he doesn't know anything about Valentine's Day.
However, the infirmary isn't only for the sick or injured. Students taking Hieke's class are more than welcome to stop by to ask for help or ask general questions - there's an office set aside for him, but he spends all of his hours in the infirmary anyways. It's the best place to catch him.]
b; the network (un: hieke)
Good afternoon.
I'm sorry to bother everyone, but I'm looking for something. A mushroom - native to the Outlands - that's not dangerous or anything, just a little mischievous. It managed to find out how to open the windows in my room, and now it's loose and locate and summoning magic were something I never spent much time studying.
It's about a foot tall, with a pale orange cap, so it should be pretty distinct. If you see it, please let me know! And mind the spores.
c; the wildcard
[If you want anything else or need Hieke for anything, let me know!]

I'm going to step out to get coffee. What do you like?

Oh, ah, just black coffee is fine.

A - also OTA to others, sorry about your inbox
But by Monday at least, he's sitting up with a text book, diligently working on ... homework? Is that homework? Looks suspiciously like he's studying anti-undead explosive runes.
When he spots a visitor, Hieke or otherwise, he looks a bit sheepish. Knowing he's been pretty much AWOL for the last 48 hours at minimum. ]
Hey. Um. Sorry? I really didn't mean to stay here that long.

[There's also a letter sealed with a robot sticker that, if he doesn't recognize the handwriting, he would surely recognize the oddness factor.]
I didn't want to wake you, and I wasn't sure I could say it well in person anyway and control my emotions. The plans changed. My brother got turned. Hector saw it happen. You're still recovering, so please continue to do so. Tatsumaki will be with me, so I won't be alone, and I won't do anything stupid. I have to turn him back.
We'll be okay. Promise.

It's the middle of the day when Imelda arrives at the infirmary with Kano in tow, and for once it's not just Kano in need of assistance. Imelda looks soaked to the bone with freezing water, courtesy of the giant pond out on the campus grounds. There's a hefty bruise forming on the side of her face, near her temple and curling down around her cheekbone. Kano initially seems rather fine--until he drops his illusions inside the building, and it becomes clear that he's just as soaked and just as injured. His jacket has been wrapped around his arm, which was bleeding profusely.
Imelda, for one, looks relieved to see that Hieke is in.
[c: ota, imelda and/or kano]
Following their visit with Hieke, Imelda and Kano have been given dry uniforms and blankets to warm themselves up with. Perhaps you'd like to talk with one or both of them? They're sitting nearby, but it wouldn't be difficult to pull one aside, if the conversation calls for privacy.

Wait. What the hell? His eyes go wide as he sees Imelda and Kano sitting there. "Kano? Ms. Rivera? What - what happened?"

How are you feeling? Is there anything else you need? [ Ekkehardt's a LITTLE concerned this keeps happening, and now Imelda's mixed up in it too apparently. But he doesn't ask too many questions. ]

When he walks in, he's not expecting to see Imelda. He'd meant to find her actually, stop in here only quickly when he did. But there she is, wrapped in a towel. With all he's seen and all that's happened-- eyes wide and shellshocked, one hand gripping his cane, the other sleeve empty and rolled up, looking more like a corpse with his sunken eyes and cherks than he normally lets anyone see-- he almost can't react.
Almost.
His voice is a croak. He hardly even sees Kano beside her wrapped the same. His stomach feels like it's dropping out.
"Imelda? Oh my god, what are you doing here? What happened?" He's moving to her as fast as he can manage, thoughtless.

Until the fact it was quite real was. In her vision, the Giraffe simply was there: a massive, long-necked animal. His head turned to face Nana in her dream, as if she were the viewer behind the camera. Green eyes the same color as hers stared into her.
When the Giraffe spoke, his lips did not move. A rumbling, masculine baritone declared: ”I UNDERSTAND.”
When Nana wakes up, it’s with a start. She dresses in a hurry, but by the time she makes it to the infirmary, Kano and Imelda have been moved to their blankets. She manages to keep from running, but she is still hurried. She rounds the corner with wide eyes, looking around the room until she finds Kano. She walks quickly, and the worried expression on her face is plain to see.
She tugs her uniform coat, to straighten it. “K-Kano-san! I...” She stops herself there. Better to not explain how she knew. She switches to English. “Miss Rivera. ...are you okay?”

And then the illusion drops, and Hieke jumps from his seat. A spell is cast before he even makes it around his desk - checking for the extent of their injuries - and he reaches out to support Imelda.]
Did you - did you walk all the way here from the pond?

[Michael wanders in, looking around at the Valentine's decorations idly. He's only been here once before, when he brought Tyzias in after her whole incident. This guy probably knows that he stuck around in her room until she woke up....ugh.]
I need you to show me how to fix humans when they break. You teach some kind of class on that, right?

A - FEB 4 | Early Evening
Again.
The story this time is that a tree fell and nearly crushed her- Gongenzaka caught it (With his BACK,) and proceeded to simply let it fall off of him however, so no one seems to be injured.
Seems, anyway. He might not be limping or anything but he also just took a formerly Alive tree to the back, and it wasn't exactly a small one. So the clacking of geta comes down to the infirmary, and with the clacking comes a 'small' bear in pajama pants.]
Auuh... Is a doctor in? [He calls, simply walking in and shifting a bit anxiously on his feet. There's always a doctor in, obviously, the question is which one. And also, it's just polite to ask.]
hieke feel free to jump in whenever
[ Ekkehardt pushes back his chair and stands. Gongenzaka seems robustly healthy, from all he's seen of the boy, so if he was coming to the infirmary there must be something urgent he needs to deal with. ]

Feb 1-2, A - OTA
[Nevermind the fact that he knew the soul whose piece he'd eaten was tainted and he'd had it anyway.]
[Anyone who comes to visit Avery over the couple of days he's out with food poisoning will see a very, very grumpy professor looking more disheveled than he prefers to let anyone see, long bangs hanging oon his eyes, waistcoat, blazer, and cravat tossed carelessly somewhere to the side. The scarring around his neck is on full display, and he occasionally stops to vomit some sort of oily, great black substance into a nearby wastebin.]
[Hopefully Hieke will get on his case for it less than Ekkehardt]

Don't name the devil!
[It's blurted out before he thinks it through, and now he wonders why this has happened.]
Did you have dinner with White Chain~!?
