[She has no one but herself to blame, but also fuck this.]
I said a day at most- there was barely any left on you when I Looked, so it definitely isn't gonna do anything else to you, there's not enough there anymore. Assuming that it even was the spell that made you do that, because we don't actually know for sure that it does anything other than fuck with memories.
[She speaks firmly, clearly enough to be heard despite his shouting, but doesn't take the bait and get riled up, doesn't start shouting back.]
I will pay you five actual dollars to stop jumping to conclusions. Please. I am fucking begging you.
[Why can she feel herself getting a headache. This is the fucking worst.]
Look, I'll make you a deal here: if you sit back down, calm at least some percentage of your tits, and use your inside fucking voice instead of shouting in my face, I'll hear you out on this. I'll listen to your entire argument, no interrupting or ignoring you, and actually consider it on its' own merits instead of just chucking it out the window 'cause it wasn't what I planned on doing. And if you can convince me, we'll do it your way, no tricks and no excuses.
And even if you can't convince me, the argument still isn't over until you're actually okay with what we decide- not necessarily thrilled, but at least okay- and you're allowed to come back to me and keep arguing if you change your mind.
Fair?
[Taking a page out of Avery's book seemed to help him when she was teaching him how to use his powers, maybe making a bargain about this will work, too.]
