Hello!

My name is Bai Lin, and I have recently been offered a position on the staff of Daybreak Academy. I will be taking over the duties of Tsunade Senju, which means that if any of you have any concerns or worries that you feel like you can't talk about to anyone else, my ear is available and my discretion is assured.

However, since there are many of you who don't want to open up about your problems with a stranger, and hopefully some of you who are comfortable with who they are and have no deep seated worries, I figure I can ALSO offer my expertise as someone who was formally trained to be a warrior monk. I'm qualified to teach the basics of the Supreme Soaring Fist style of Kung Fu, and willing to do so with any student who I judge to be able to use their knowledge responsibly.

I think that it would benefit many of you to consider it. Aside from the obvious tactical value of having more trained fighters on our side, I personally think that the discipline and techniques required have always helped me maintain a bit of inner peace.

-2: Remedial Studies-

Actually working for the school means Lin gets paid, and that means not having to awkwardly barter for everything she gets. Lin is celebrating her first paycheck with a nice lunch at a restaurant in Soleil, as well as a brand new smartphone and a copy of "Smartphones For Dummies".

There was also a folder full of files on various students, though it was closed so that wasn't immediately obvious. She had a lot of reading to catch up on, if she wanted to know enough about the student body to be able to help them. It didn't help that she had to pick up the disorganized mess that Tsunade had left behind. She was sure the previous therapist had had her reasons for leaving suddenly in the middle of the night, but it was still a royal pain to have to deal with the aftermath.

She glanced up when she heard someone else come in and gave a warm smile when she recognized them as someone else from the school. She also, however, shifted the folder full of confidential documents a bit closer to her. Can't have someone walking off with that.

[Lia is still getting used to Soleil--although, it's not like she's been around that long, so it's to be expected. Of course, fixing that problem of not being used to this place included trying out the different restaurants.

Unfortunately, that's because she's caught sight of Lin's smartphone, and is currently eyeing it with the same look she gives all potentially upgradeable technology- i.e., that of a cat about to pounce on something small, furry, and cornered.]

Some people do not have the right kind of mindset for meditation. Inner peace mainly just comes from knowing who you are and accepting it, though. I don't think that's impossible.
