Who: Kisara and you
What: A catch-all for June (mostly mid to late June)
When: Mid to late June
Where: Research and shifting shenanigans
Warnings: Death, past bullshit
A. Library research
It takes a bit to honestly shake Kisara for longer than a day, but the appearance of someone that claimed to know her and his insinuations had been enough to get under her skin. But, of course, the best way to find out who that person was was to see what kind of history this school actually had within the library. If her assumption was correct, based on his dress, then he should be some sort of an important figure from the time period she also believes is correct.
Which is exactly why she's pouring through a huge stack of books with small noises of frustration with her hair pulled back into a ponytail and looking like she hasn't really slept in the last week or so. Or really just looked way rougher than she normally does.
B. Dragons
A shifter of some sort seemed to be the only explanation for her whole "powers" ordeal as the alternative honestly made no sense to her. She was human last she checked, flesh, blood, all the hallmarks of what human meant. Which leads her to the understanding of something needed to be done to harness that power. So far she'd done relatively well on at least being able to summon that part of her, but actually controlling it was another story entirely.
But probably doing this in a corner of the quad was probably the worst idea, at least she's only having success in a few little physical changes. Mostly a small sprout of wings, teeth taking a sharper hint, and the beginnings of a tail.
"Why isn't this working!" She's hissing to herself, though loud enough for anyone nearby, if they cared to interrupt.

"Uh, excuse me," he says, doing that fucking thing he does where most of the time he moves like a silent shadow and then draws attention to himself and there's a 7'4 ghoul of a man right there. "I don't think you should be trying something you haven't mastered in a crowd of people."
no subject
"... There wasn't a crowd here a little while ago." Which had been the truth, she'd been mostly alone until recently. Also, Rex, just ignore the very clear accent going along with her words.
"I'm not... entirely sure where the best place to do this even would be since I'm pretty sure most of the areas inside are too small..."
no subject
"You've still got a little..." He curls his upper lip, looking remarkably like a snarling dog, pointing at his own perfectly normal human teeth. In case she hadn't noticed.
He moves on, looking out over the crowd while doing a mental catalogue of all the indoor areas he's measured (which is many of them, in case he needs to know that later). "You'd have to be turning into something... quite huge for that to be an issue."
no subject
"... That's because I am." Not helpful in the slightest. "I, um, turn into a dragon, basically. An actual dragon, not a drake like Hiccup's partner."
no subject
“Okay,” is his quietly dumbfounded response as billions of ideas explode into his head and he has to sort them. Many of these are bad ideas, many of them are good ideas, but only one needs to be articulated immediately. “Then you really should do that in a controlled environment, or at least further from others.”
And he just has to ask-
“May I ask, are you a dragon in human form or a human with dragon connections?”
Because that’s important to working out how the transformation should operate, which would be helpful for her

"Why isn't what working?"
no subject
"Being able to change. I can get bits and pieces here and there to change, but not the actual form... And I don't think anyone here really knows how to fix it..." She is a weird situation, she knows that much.
no subject
"...huh." Bowser pauses for a few moments, thinking. "Have you tried talking to anybody with powers kinda like yours?"
no subject
"That and a giant flying lizard is a little different than a wolf, I think."

Dunno if anyone's told you this, but the library isn't going anywhere, Kisara. You can sleep.
no subject
It's Arabic.Once that's done she's looking up from the book and taking a deep breath.]
I'm... I'm fine. Just a little stressed, but fine. [She's not.]
no subject
There some kind of deadline you have to find this dude by? What's the stress over?
no subject
Because the more I find the more questions I end up having about him. I have a name, I have a face, and then there's just... more questions.

The wings and tail--- dragon. Wait, he's seen this girl's picture on the network and he has certainly heard of her. ]
Excuse me, are you Kisara by any chance?
no subject
I... am, why?
no subject
Oh, Keith just told me about you. I'm James, his roommate. Hi.
no subject
Oh.
It's nice to meet you, then, I didn't know he had a roommate exactly. But I suppose in a place like this it's not unheard of, right?

A!
Does Reira have good grades, somehow yes, and her absolute lack of awareness and care toward the idea of those grades is an enviable matter to those in the know.
Regardless. This one stands out a bit, if only because she never really sees the pale hair, pale skin, and pale eyes as features all in one place.
Except, maybe, a mirror.
So maybe it's a good idea to note the tiredness.
One of the local nine year olds is scooting over now.] ....
Umnnn...
[Hello may she offer...Maybe assistance. Maybe not,
It's a toss-up.]
no subject
Which is exactly why she's honestly a little surprised at this child scooting over towards her and is slowly blinking in her direction.
Huh.]
Hel... lo? [Really, she has no idea what to do or say in this situation, but hello will suffice, right? Of course.]
no subject
...what are you reading?
[She has learned, very importantly, that immediately jumping into 'you are Tired and sort of Upset, go get sleep' makes people feel kind of nervous and a little on edge. So the best way to do things is talk about books first, probably.
What do you mean it's still awkward.]
no subject
Um. Books on Ancient Egyptian history? Nothing... interesting, I guess? [To most people it probably isn't, and she's not really too keen on getting more people involved in what she's going through all of this for. Mostly since she's sure she'd sound crazy to literally anyone else.]

"When was the last time you ate something?" she asks from a few steps away because being nosy is her thing.
no subject
"... Uh." She's looking for her a clock and rubbing at her eyes. "About eleven hours ago?"
no subject
no subject
Still not the best idea.
