Who: Nekane, their class and you.
What: A network post before falling asleep in the Grand Hall. Then a mock game of One Man Hide and Seek.
Where: The Grand Hall.

UN: MONACHOPSIS
Nekane here. Announcement for anyone taking Rituals and Urban Legends: class time's moved to 10: 30 PM today. We're playing hide and seek. I'll explain the rules when we meet up in the classroom. If you've got a reason to be late or whatever, let me know now. Otherwise it's not my damn problem if you miss it.
[B - Grand Hall]
[Between their own work, faculty paperwork, looking over the photocopies Toki gave them, and the aftermath of the Spirit Train bullshit, Nekane was dealing with...a lot. More so then usual.
But that works for them. The more they have to do, the less chance there is for sleep. So all Nekane does as a way of helping themself is to grab more coffee and continue on, even if they are running on an hour of sleep...for this week.
Unfortunately while the mind is strong, the body is weak. The hustle and bustle of the Grand Hall is loud enough that it at least keeps Nekane aware of what is going on while they read over their work. But eventually their sight starts to blur and--
There is a loud crash and those who look over will see Nekane has fallen out of their chair, a few stray papers fluttering down from the table. It takes them a moment before they start gathering up the papers.
Sadly anyone who comes over to help will receive a sharp glare.]

[C - Classroom]
[Once 10:30 rolls around, Nekane waits for their students to come to the classroom. Laid out on the teacher's desk are enough scissors for each student along with a cup of water. Nekane is looking over a doll that has a red thread sown through its stomach and has a rather unsettling smile, because of course it does. They also have a new accessory - a set of goggles that certainly look like something the people in the Forge cooked up. Night-sight goggles. Good for tag and stalking people. Not that they know anything about that.
Once everyone - hopefully - is in, Nekane stands up and begins to talk.]
We're playing a game of one man hide in seek. I sure hope you remember how it goes because I'm not explain shit. I'll just be going over the rules for this game.
Each person gets a pair of scissors and water. You each get half an hour to find a hiding spot before the doll starts coming after you. [They shake the doll they're holding.] Catch it before it gets you and you win.
House rules before we start. You have to end the ritual as it's suppose to. Stab the doll and walk away and you're done. Also the dorms, the Forge and off campus is off limits. Go there and fail. And don't be a smartass and try anyway. Just because you can't see me sure doesn't fucking mean I can't see you.

What constitutes 'caught' for the purposes of this exercise?
[ Though Rex is mostly thinking to wrap it up in a barrier or something, he'd not be above just making it explode if that was easier. Some sort of out of the box solution is always his style, but best to make sure he won't get into trouble for it in advance. ]

For you, basically if the doll stabs you in the face. But catching the doll is whatever. The only shit you've got to keep in mind is you have to end it like the ritual states.
