Who: Bowser, the students who signed up, faculty who could use a laugh, etc.
When: June 18th and then June 23rd
Where: The Gym + Soliel
What Dance training & practice + a follow-up lesson. Also prom shopping.

A) June 18th: First Lesson

[Not long after Bowser's initial post (which was forward-dated a day so the lessons wouldn't overlap with the sword in the stone plot), Bowser sent the entire student body a message regarding prom dance lessons, including where and when they'd take place. 1 o'clock PM, June 18th. Which it is right now. Bowser's actually dressed up for a change in his old wedding outfit, minus the jacket. The sleeves of his shirt are also rolled up to give him a bit more mobility.

There's no real reason for him to be dressed like this, except maybe to stick it to Keith.]

Alright, glad you chumps could make it on time. Here's how this is going to go down. You kids are going to show me what exactly I'm working with and we'll go from there. We're going to be covering dancing by yourself and dancing with a partner. If you didn't bring a partner, find one here. If you can't find one? Then congrats, you get to dance with me.

B) June 23rd: The Last Chance

[Although Bowser's going to be treating this as more or less a follow up course, if for whatever reason you couldn't make it on the first day, Bowser's going to allow people to come and get their first (and only) lesson before Prom. He'll still be more than ready to dance himself and give examples, but he's mainly hosting this lesson to make sure the kids have been practicing the moves and to snuff out any problems they've run into before prom. So he'll just be going up to every kid who showed up and asking them to show him what they've got.]

C) Either day; Faculty only

[After the lesson, once all the kids have left, Bowser lets out a hefty sigh and take off his top hat, wiping the sweat off his brow and forehead with a handkerchief. He looks pretty exhausted all things consider, but he didn't want to show this side of himself to the kids. He also didn't want to show it off to the faculty, either, but apparently some decided to check it out.]

What do you want? [He says this without even looking at them. Once he finishes wiping off the sweat from his face, he tosses the handkerchief on the floor.]

D) Any day before June 25 (the sooner the better): Shopping

[While most people didn't seem to be interested in taking Bowser up on his offer to help students pick out a prom outfit, some did and that's exactly what this is for. Whether a few people are going together to make it easier on Bowser or everyone's getting helped on separate days, he's going to drive them down to a shop in Soliel with in his beloved car to save on time.]

[Hey, just because she's been watching from the side-lines on both lessons doesn't mean she doesn't find this amusing. Really, she's got little else to do here and watching this was... honestly entertaining. Not in a bad way, of course.

Which is exactly why she's jumping a bit when finally addressed, oops. But her expression remains neutral, as it always does.]

Nothing. Merely wanted to watch everything go down, some of them were quite impressive after those lessons. And I can't say I expected dance instructions from someone with your figure. Honestly, impressive.

[At the "someone with your figure" remark, Bowser raises an eyebrow. The rest of what she said didn't seem to earn any kind of big reaction.]

Of course it was impressive. I put a hundred percent into everything I do, because I get stuff DONE. But what do you mean, "someone with my figure"?

[Right, dance lessons. For someone who has never really had any training what-so-ever in this stuff and has no idea what a prom is. Good start, good start.

Which might explain why she's showing up in a t-shirt and shorts for this whole mess and looking absolutely bewildered at why Bowser's all dressed up like this.

And just immediately bee-lining for the nearest corner to make herself look small in. She's literally the worst dragon and has realized her folly in ending up here. Making herself look like an idiot. In front of a bunch of people.

If she could just be struck down right here...]

[To be fair, some of the kids probably haven't bothered to dress up. Bowser just did it because he wants to flex on all the haters.

Like Keith.

Anyway, Bowser makes his way over to Kisara and raises an eyebrow at her.]

The wallflower's a pretty cruddy dance move, kid. How about you join the rest of us?

So...all we do is find a suit, right?

[He hasn't ventured that much into town, busy trying to study and maintain decent grades. But since he's with a teacher, there's a layer of oddity to the whole trip.

At the same time, Bowser is genuine with time and expertise. Even if he's on the gruff side.]

Depends on how well it fits, but honestly? Yeah.

[He opens the car door and hops out, waiting for Lie Ren to get out before locking up and making his way towards the shop.]

C'mon, before they run out of all the good suits.

Can stores really run out of suits?

[You naive lotus colored blossom. Clearly he has a lot to learn but at least he can keep up quite well with Bowser in the store.]

On prom? Yeah, they can.

[It's a good thing he can keep up, because Bowser isn't exactly walking slow. His pace is pretty fast and there's a bit of a quake as he moves through the store. The men's section is within sight and the section for suit's is pretty impressive. Of course, there's not nearly as many as there would be normally.]

You know your sizes, right?

Uh, yes, I do.

[Wow, there's still a lot of stuff here to him, anyway. There's so many suits and shirts and ties and pants and nearly everything. So he kind of stands there, a little stunned and lets Bowser take over.]

[He looks over the selection with an expression that seems mildly impressed. A quick glance over to his student's stunned, blank face is about all he needs to start looking through the outfits himself. Eventually he pulls out a little number similar to this and hands it over.]

Go try it on.

Uh...okay?

[It does take him a few minutes while he grasps how everything is supposed to go, but it's not so bad once he's figured it out. The suit is a little big but he certainly does look sharp once he emerges.]

Does this look all right?

Not bad, but it looks a little big on you. How does it feel?

I've never worn anything like this before. Although it's not bad. Just big.

Maybe they have other sizes?

[He hopes, anyway. He is a bit on the slender side.]

Probably. You're gonna have to tell me your sizes or we're going to be here all day.

[But if they don't have his size exactly, they can probably go to a tailor. Or use magic. Either or.]

[Ren tells Bowser the pertinent information about sizes and then looks at himself in a mirror, surprised.]

I guess you're right. If you dress to impress, you even impress yourself.

Of course I'm right.

[How humble.

Rummaging around in the aisle, he finds a similar-looking suit, this time actually in Ren's size.]

Okay, try this one on.

[Okay, Bowser definitely has an eye for size and fashion. When Ren returns with a suit that actually fits, it makes a difference. All Ren has to do is smile to show how pleased he is with this choice.]

[Bowser smiles it response, but there's a good amount of pride in it. He's glad he did a good job.

...and maybe that Ren is happy with the choice. Maybe.]

Looks good on you, kid. Wanna go with that one?

I think I should. Although I doubt I'll be as impressive as you are.

[I mean, look at how big he is. Bowser is impressive on size alone.]

[There is really no denying just how much like a fish out of water Keith looks right now. None. In fact, he kinda looks like he might bolt from class aaaaaaaany minute now. And maybe part of the reason he stuck around as long as he did is that he was busy just kinda staring at how weirdly overdressed Bowser looks now?

In any case, the moment Bowser makes that announcement, he's immediately blurting:]

You never said we had to bring a partner!

[And there it is, his trademark laugh. He is way too happy about this.]

Did you think a dancing class for PROM wasn't going to include dancing for two? Get real! If you weren't sure, you should have asked!

[It's only just starting to dawn on him just how MUCH of a mistake this was. Bowser is way too fucking happy about this.

But you know what?

It's on.

Play it cool, Keith. Play it cool.]

Fine. I made an oversight. I can own up to that. But since I didn't bring a partner to practice with, that means you're my partner, right?

[A BEAT.]

That why you put on some clothes today?

[KEITH YOU ARE ASKING FOR A YEARS WORTH OF DETENTION...]

[That actually does get him good. Bowser snorts out some smoke and a small bit of fire before stomping over to Keith.]

Don't kid yourself! I dressed up because I felt like it!

[He stops a roughly a foot away from Keith and leans over, glaring at him.]

Any more stupid questions?

[The fire and smoke get a raised eyebrow, though as far as people getting up close and belligerent goes, he's built up something of an immunity. It's...just what happens when you're Keith and teachers get fed up with you.]

Duly noted.

[That's stated a little flatly, his arms folding across his chest.]

Just wanna learn how to dance if that's okay.

Then stop with the smarmy remarks.

[It's clear Bowser's not exactly in the best of moods now and his patience isn't going to hold up much longer.]

Now. Let's see what you've got. Show me how you usually dance.

[He's going to do his best not to roll his eyes here, and to his credit he manages that, but his tone's gone drier than the Sahara.]

I don't usually dance. That's the whole reason I'm here. I got nothing.

[AND HE WILL NOT BE MADE TO DEMONSTRATE HOW HE THINKS ONE IS SUPPOSED TO DANCE, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!]

[He, quite dramatically, facepalms. He then slowly slides his hand down his face, looking overall Done With This without having even started.]

Look. Even if you can't dance, I gotta see how much rhythm you got.

[If it helps the regret is utterly mutual. He feels like such a hopeless case and he's not sure why for not having attempted a single step of dancing yet.

Ordinarily this wouldn't be stressing him out, but for better or for worse he has a date for prom that he doesn't want to look utterly stupid in front of.]

...Can't you just demonstrate and I try to mimic you? I'm good at picking up martial arts like that. Dancing can't be much harder than that.

[He's massaging his temples now. It's not that Keith's idea is bad, per se, but if Bowser were more...let's be blunt, knowledgeable, he'd probably make the comparison to that proverb about giving a man a fish. Anyone can parrot moves they've seen with enough practice, but that's not really what dancing is about.

Still, he's got a job to do and not a whole lot of time to do it.]

Fine. Let's start off with something basic you can do by yourself. I'm going to teach you The Hustle.

[He snaps his fingers and music starts to play. Off in the corner is a shy guy with a with some DJ equipment set up. The song that's playing is kind of an older song, but it matches perfectly to the dance move in question. He does completely at first, before rewinding the music and breaking it down step by step and to his credit, it's actually pretty thorough.]

[Yuya, in contrast to Bowser, is dressed much more casually for the occasion. He's also here to teach! For anyone who needs a partner on the much... shorter scale, or just plain is the odd one out without someone to dance with. People looking especially shy are the ones he'll actively approach to pull them out into the lessons, and otherwise he's available to offer tips.

He knows the in's and out's of waltzing and some bouncier dance freeform dance moves, being one of the kids in theater (it comes up) so anyone can still count on getting taught the right moves.]

[Gongenzaka...is ready. He has his wallet, and he's ready to get a good suit!

His partner is probably still wearing a hawaiian print tie he. He can't change Yuuya, he really can't change him at all. But here they are, and he's careful not to slam that door too hard because Wow this is a nice car. Kind of over the top, but nice.] Mnh! Thank you for this, Mr. Bowser..!

[He appreciates Gon not slamming the door too hard. This card's already been through enough.]

You're welcome.

[Bowser heads towards the door, swinging it open. If Gon's quick enough, he should be able to make it inside before it closes again no problem. Just don't expect Bowser to hold the door or anything.]

So, you got something in mind or are we winging it?

Mnh...I know that Yuuya will have...a black suit, at least- it is his accessories, and tie that I am most worried about matching, from there, [he explains. He's fine getting inside himself in any case.]

My first guess, would be that 'black' means I should choose black as well...but, are there other options for the, main colour?

What, for the suit or the shirt? Either way, the answer's yes.

[He isn't really sure which one Gon's talking about because you could argue one is more important than the other.]

Auhh...I had been thinking in terms of the suit, but, if it is both then I shall have to consider a few options...

[He frowns.] ...Perhaps, if I do not use magic-adjust fabric, I will have a more flexible budget for this...

[Normally it's vital as a choice since...werebear...but he's hoping to not transform at all while on this dance and date! So surely he doesn't need it...right?]

Don't worry about the price, I'll pay the difference. [He smirks.] We'll just say you owe me one.

[What he's going to ask Gon to do is something he hasn't decided yet, but he's sure he'll think of something.]

Mnh- That is truly alright?

[A lot of people don't mean it when they say 'you owe me'.

Gon prefers when they do.] While I shall certainly try to remain within budget, I will make certain to do whatever it takes, to repay you if that is the case then!

[Hopefully he doesn't regret saying that to Bowser, though.]

Kid, I'm a king. Money isn't a concern.

[A favor, on the other hand, is.]

I'll keep that in mind, though. But you should worry about prom first. A black suit or a black shirt is fine, but mixing them both is a bit much.

Hmn! Understood then!

[Now, Prom though.]

...Yuuya is wearing a black suit, with a white shirt...

...I could perhaps, have such a suit in the reverse, but perhaps, that would stand out too much..?

[Boy would it look Great when he was a bear though.]

[That actually gets a smile and then some out of the big guy.]

That sounds pretty classy! Gwahaha! I like it!

OH- You feel so, then? [Well, Gongenzaka is grinning rather widely as well then.] Then, I shall try that set of colours, first!

Mnh-

[He pauses, and looks down at his geta. ...Technically they'd match.

But they're also iron geta.] ...I expect, my sash, cannot be worn for this... ...but that likely means the same, for these then...

[He looks fairly conflicted by that, suffice to say.]

What, they important to your style or something? You look like someone kicked your dog.

Auh-

It is...far more than mere style! It is the symbol of the dojo I represent! I have never... ...Not, worn them, [He admits.]

[That was actually unexpected! Bowser looks taken aback, but quickly recovers.]

Sheesh, kid, relax. It's not like you're tossing 'em out or anything. Besides, I can probably work something out if you wanna wear 'em THAT badly.

Auh-

Y-Yes..!

[Right he needs to reign that in...] ...Well...for Yuuya's sake, I think...I will try the shoes, [He insists. ...Before pausing.] ...Though... ...You do not think, perhaps, that it will cause troubles, dancing, yes?

[If he's never worn shoes is it gonna suck on the dance floor oh boy.]

You're probably gonna need some practice, yeah. Dunno how much. We'll find out when you try them on, so let's get a move on.

[And he's just going to lumber over to the shoe section, expecting Gon to follow him.]

Auh-! Right!

[To the shoes!]
