water park!!! backdated to july 4th
Who: Everyone
What: It's time for the water park party!
Where: Just outside of Soleil
When: July 4
Warning: N/A

It happens quickly, but as soon as July 4th hits, a swarm of students and faculty flock over to the Big Lagoon Water Park in their beach attire, ready to cool down for the summer and get away from all they've lost during the Herald fight. As promised, all admission fees are paid for and everyone is free to come and go as they please from opening til closing.
A. RIDES.
One of the main attractions at the Big Lagoon is a giant water slide that stands at about 40 feet tall. Riders are instructed to slide down a water-filled pathway on their stomachs and race up to two other people at the same time. It's a quick and easy ride for those looking for a fast thrill.
Other rides include, but aren't limited to, tube-based water slides, raft rides, and a launch chamber.
B. SUPER SOAKERS.
There's a designated area at the Big Lagoon for people to borrow Super Soakers for the entire day. There's a load of them, too, ensuring that all Daybreak students and faculty can blast their friends with a jet of water at any given moment. Super Soakers are allowed anywhere inside the park, but each of them come with a little tracker in case of any theft. The censors will go off at the exit, for anyone who's trying to sneak a water gun out of the park.
C. FREE FOOD.
Part of the deal David made with Big Lagoon staff members is to provide everyone with one (1) free meal, whether that be lunch or dinner -- the water park offers hot dogs, corn dogs, and a variety of different burgers.
( OOC: Feel free to make up your own rides, attractions, etc.! The world is your oyster. )

[At first, Weiss was ignoring the water guns. This lasted exactly until someone sprayed her with one, and now she has a super soaker in each hand and looks ready to go to war.]
Defeat is not an option! To battle!
C
[What. What is this. This is all horribly unhealthy, who would actually eat this stuff. Weiss just keeps staring at the food with dismay, even as her own stomach rumbles with need. She's likely to continue to do so until someone interrupts her.]
b
[ it's time for WAR. ruby sprays weiss with her super soaker, right on the shoulder. ruby bursts out laughing, up until weiss declares war on ruby, and ruby starts making a run for the hills. ]
Catch me if you can!

[For someone so... vertically challenged as Weiss, she sure is fast. She takes off at top speed after Ruby, spraying at her from both water guns.]
Take that!
no subject
[ ruby turns back around and shoots weiss right on back!!! ruby only has one gun, too, putting her at a disadvantage. she aims for weiss' face and lets out a laugh. ]
Take that! Ha!

[Lia had wandered over to get some food, but acquaintance is more of a priority!!]
What's up?

[She looks over the selection.]
And, I mean, I'm surprised that the burgers actually look decent. Park food generally isn't... great on any front in any experience. And is usually pretty overpriced.

B!
Didn't mean to hit you, but.... battle, huh?
[Time to raise his water gun and take aim again!!]

[Weiss starts going after him, water guns firing at rapid speed. Notably, she's much more aggressive than she was with Ruby.]
sorry this got buried in my inbox!
Oh you're on.
[Ducking behind the nearest pillar, Keith laughs and takes aim. FIRE THE SUPER SOAKER.]

[It is, naturally, the tallest ride that's gotten Adelaide's attention. She stands at the bottom of it, hands on her hips, and stares at it before turning to the person next to her.]
Wanna give it a go?
b;
[Adelaide can't remember the last time she had a water gun in her hands. She doesn't think she's had anything of this caliber before, but that doesn't stop her.
Her aim isn't exactly impeccable, but she's a good enough shot to nail someone across the chest. Which she does. Gleefully and without remorse.]
a
[ ruby's at the top in the spot next to her, and it doesn't seem like anyone else is in line, so...it'll just be the two of them, this time! ]
Ready for this?
no subject
As ready as I'll ever be, I think!

Alright! On my count: three, two, one...
GO!

[No one needs to ask where 18 got this tiny adorable child came from, mostly because 18 is looking a little on edge and doing her best to treat this as normal. She's sighing softly to herself as she's casually walking after the girl, who is happily running around the area to try and find the thing she's most interested in.
Between swimsuits and the like, Marron's decided on a dark purple one piece with ruffles at the chest and waist while 18's being a little less modest in something more blue.
Either way, she seems content to just follow the child around, so do feel free to interject on them.]
Wildcard
[Feel free to make something up, 18 will be more apt to be in the water chilling or sitting somewhere while keeping a close eye on the ridiculous Marron. So hey.]

[Kokoro can be found all over the place, whether she's throwing beach balls in the wave pool, checking out a raft ride, or going down every slide. Every slide. Even that scary-looking one with the part that kind of looks like a toilet bowl.
And yes, even her swimsuit has crosses all over it, and yes, she's still wearing the bracelet to summon her Rune Armour... in the pool. Must be waterproof?]
There is no challenge I cannot master!
[c]
[Kokoro stares at the fair-food menu selection with a quiet hum.]
Why is it called a corn dog, anyway? Does it taste like corn?

A normal human would be bedridden right now, but Kohaku had a touch of daemonic fortitude about her, so instead she was lying down on a beach chair, enjoying the sun, and eating a burger and sipping at a coca-cola.

[ James isn't actually in any state to swim since his arm is still in bandages. The injury he sustained in the Herald fight is healing well and much faster than it would with mundane magical treatment, but the effect is simply not instant.
So James has wrapped his arm in a plastic bag to not get the bandages wet and is lounging on the edge of the pool. He may not be able to swim around, but he can certainly relax in the water. If someone who was fighting the Herald comes close, he might speak up. ]
Hard to believe we were just on the other end of the world, fighting apocalyptic evil...
2.
[ Or you can catch James simply tanning on a beach chair, sunglasses covering his eyes. He looks... like a very stereotypical beach boy this way, which is ironic, considering he grew up in the desert. ]

[Says the girl clinging onto a pool floaty and trying to look dignified.]

[ It doesn't help that Soleil is so luxurious and peaceful most of the time. Hanging out at the local pool feels like a vacation. ]

It is, but the point of this trip is to relax and get away from it all.
[ she grins. ] Plus, I believe we have some catching up to do? Aside from the Herald battle, of course.

You say that, yet the mission brain is hard to turn off... Maybe a catch-up talk will be good distraction. What have you been up to before coming here?
