When the sign up was finalized, everyone was given a suggestion to pack clothes they would not mind having to throw away and sturdy shoes, boots preferably.

On the morning they were scheduled to leave, Ky gathered the students who signed up, with files on his desk.

"This would be a standard urban hunt - the ideal is to slip in, take down the monster and get back without a civilian getting in harm's way or taking notice." He started, voice firm and clipped - booking no argument or backtalk.

"Miss Leveiller will be our guide for the Catacombs of the Parisian Underground where we are likely to find it, and I can serve as the guide for the more ancient parts if it flees there. Miss Matlin will assist in detecting the creature - she is a non-combatant, so please keep that in mind, and one of us will keep an eye out for her at all times."

"And this is important: There will be NO splitting up unless I give the order - I do not care if you believe it will let you get the drop on the monster, or you found a 'shortcut', You do not want to get lost in the sewer system, believe me. I will reiterate and update the briefing before we actually enter the catacombs as we may have more accurate information on our target by then."

Once that was finished, he relaxes somewhat. "We'll be be hunting the day after, but once we arrive at our hotel, you are free to relax and tour - dinner will be at 8, and you must return to the hotel at 10 so that I know you are still there, I will not enforce bedtime, since I trust you understand your own body's need for sleep than I would. We'll then enter the Catacombs at 8 in the morning.

Something was wrong about all of this. She should've been able to see Killua coming from a mile away, he practically tripped and fell to White Chain's door by her standards of stealth. And that tone of voice... something about it sent a shiver up her spine. Like hell was she going to show it, though. You don't show weakness to a predator. "Pot, meet kettle," she says, flippant. "What kind of name is Killua, anyways?"

"Yeah, it's pretty unusual. I guess it's Romanian, just like Zoldyck."

His hands remained in his pockets. If he was here to kill her, he probably would have tried by now.

It was official. Tyzias was fucked. A Zoldyck at school, and dozens of assassins who knew exactly where she was by now outside. She couldn't win. But... why wasn't she dead by now? Whatever. Whatever. She couldn't show fear.

Whatever the case, it would probably be good to feign ignorance for a little while longer, maybe draw out exactly what he knows. "Romania, huh? Nice place. Stayed there for a few weeks. Too small town-y for my taste, though."

Playing dumb, eh? Not a bad idea, considering what the name Zoldyck means for someone like Tyzias. She was probably going to try and keep it cool until she can escape.

Killua leaned against the wall casually, hands still in his pockets. "You probably won't believe me, but I'm not planning on killing you. I'm not on great terms with the family right now. Honestly, I just want to know how you survived this long."

"Cowardice is a surprisingly useful skill," Tyzias says, looking at Killua from the reflection of her goggles. Just a few more moments... she needed to stall for time... "I'm also a pretty fuckin' scrappy fighter if I'm backed into a corner. Enough so your brother kept on fucking me up real bad instead of outright killing me, at least. Didn't ever manage to land a hit, though." Time to gauge his reaction to bringing up his family. That would give Tyzias more information as to how much threat this guy actually posed.

A good tactic - Killua's eyes narrowed slightly at the mention of his brother, his demeanor getting a bit colder. "I wouldn't feel bad about not being able to land a hit on Illumi. If anything, having met him makes it even more amazing that you're still alive."

Interesting reaction there. So Killua probably was at least somewhat estranged from his clan--although whether or not that meant he was abstaining from the family business remained to be seen.

Tyzias shrugs, then says, "What can I say, I'm a cockroach. Disgusting, annoying, and really fuckin' hard to put down permanently."

"Well, I wouldn't mind fighting you myself at some point to see what the big deal is, but if you're worried about getting erased, don't be. I'd have to talk to my family to collect the bounty, and I don't plan on doing that anytime soon."

"Hm." And just like that, Tyzias has collected all the information she needs. No way is she standing around Killua for any longer than necessary. She's gone in a blink of an eye.
