into the spookymonth
A: (within the first week of October, infirmary)
[With her having arrived immediately before classes started, Rebecca hadn't been here for last month's physicals. After deciding on a good time for it, and when that time comes, she goes straight to the infirmary to get it done, even if in her particular case it may prove to be mostly unnecessary outside of it being something for the academy's records; she's been a perfectly-healthy seven-year-old girl for ten years now.
It's a simple in-and-out affair like all the others, though if the staff wishes to discuss anything specific (like the effects that her Flame has on her, for example), then they might hold her there just a little longer than would be normal, and that's fine. Even without any such discussion, she may linger for a bit if not immediately shooed off when the physical is done, as there had been something she was thinking about, and this is as good a chance as any to bring it up.]
B: (October 1-27, basically a wildcard option)
[Rebecca's normal routine after settling in is a simple one: wake up, shower, breakfast, classes, lunch, a couple more classes, then spend her free time after that on basically whatever. Part of this free time is spent simply wandering around or back in Lumière (but not necessarily in her room), while on some days she can be found at the Hall of Pythia reading mostly about different kinds of healing magic, or in one of the lounges at Theater Lenormand checking out the games.
This routine does change a bit after the first couple weeks, though, as...]
C: (October 15-19, Lumière 2nd floor, open to Lumière in general)
[Over at least part of the second half of the month, any students in Lumière that regularly use the stairs may notice that a decent amount of Rebecca's free time is now being spent working in the kitchen area on the second floor. One of the chairs from her room as well as both of the tables from the common area have been dragged over and placed near the counter, the stove and the sink, all to be used to give her the necessary height to do what she needs to at each (being less than four feet tall is a little bit of a problem, sometimes).
The majority of what she's working on is cookies, cupcakes, chocolates, generally just a variety of sweets, all of it quite possibly being in preparation for the end of the month. A few of the smaller things she makes, she eats right away when they're ready, but everything else that is finished during this period gets placed into containers and later taken into her room to be stored in a miniature fridge that she had brought with her; though she's one of only three people on this floor as far as she's aware, she's not taking chances with leaving stuff in the kitchen's own fridge. If asked about it, she might be willing to share a little bit of what's done before she goes and puts it away.
During some occasional downtime when making all of these things, while waiting for her phone's timer app to ping her, she can be seen lying on the couch and playing something on a handheld game system, or sometimes on the phone itself, either texting friends or playing games on it instead.]
D: (October 20-29, Lumière 4th floor, still open to Lumière in general)
[After a few days of that, the second floor's tables and the extra chair from 201 are returned to where she got them from, and everything else she had been using is put away.
Not terribly long after that, Becky continues with her kitchen adventures, just on the fourth floor of the building rather than the second. She may or may not be borrowing the common area's tables the same way she did before, because this time, she has help.]

[She'll just go over to wash her hands.]
I'm thinking about stuff we could possibly make, mostly. Given the upcoming holiday, the general spooky theme might be fun to work with. Plus... well, it's autumn. Pumpkins and apples reign supreme for the most part. Think we should set up a table on campus to hand stuff out?

[That sounds like it's a yes, and it might also explain why she's been working the kitchen area on this floor to begin with.]
Pumpkin pie's already on my to-do list for later, too.

[She hums thoughtfully.]
Pumpkin pie sounds great, though. Hopefully people won't get too sick of pumpkin in the next couple of months!

Think we should get everyone together to figure the rest of it out? [And maybe so Becky can actually meet the other members of the club.]

As for the cupcakes that she was already working on, it doesn't take too long before her phone starts playing an alarm, signaling that the ones that were sitting in the over should be taken out now. Becky throws on a pair of mitts and gets to it, taking the tray out and having it set onto a counter to cool a bit.
These ones are chocolate, and there are no protests if Lia decides to snag one later.]

By the way... Violet's gone. Packed up and moved on out before I even really knew it.

Your roommate? Well, damn. [You know, that probably sounds weird coming from a little kid. Even if she's not actually a little kid.] I was planning to come up and meet her at some point. Guess I missed my chance.

[At least there's nobody to bother if she gets obnoxious with Halloween decorations--]

[She imagines that Lia knows a few people who would be willing to do so. She might even consider it herself, considering they knew each other back before any of this.]

That makes her wonder, just a little bit, how much she'd been missed when she moved out of New York, despite their having kept in contact since then.
She turns and glances at her room. The door's open, and a look inside shows it to be a bit on the empty side; the mini-fridge is easily visible, as is the little metal yard cart she'd bought at the market recently to make some things easier on herself, and there are a pair of flowerpots in the windows, but that's mostly it. Her stuff should all be easy enough to move when it's time to do so, though that would mean using the elevator again. While she strongly dislikes elevators (and Lia knows why; Becky's claustrophobic), she can manage as long as she isn't in there for too long.]
You know what? Sure. Rooming with someone I know would beat staying here by myself.

I'll even help you get your stuff moved so you don't have to spend too much time in the elevator.

I don't have a lot of stuff in there so it shouldn't take more than just a couple trips? It'll be easier since I bought that cart, too; we can just load a bunch of stuff onto that instead of trying to carry it.
