[Today's class is outside, where a large boulder has been seemingly dropped in the middle of the field. When class is in session, some may notice that Amaterasu's usual smile is absent. She looks out at the students with an air of deadly seriousness.]
Students of Daybreak, the signs are clear. A new Herald approaches, and I have no illusions that our attempt to destroy it before it can gather it's full power will go well. That is why I will be teaching you a technique that I have been reluctant to: Power Slash, the domain of Tachigami.
[She looks up at the boulder and pulls out her brush.]
I want you all to promise me something: that you will never use this technique against any living being you do not intend to kill. Power Slash is the greatest cutting force in the world, able to sever most anything in two. Like so.
[A swift movement from the Goddess, a single stroke, and the boulder slams to the ground in two pieces.]
It's among the simplest Brush Techniques, merely a single line, but it is also the most dangerous. Do not use it carelessly.

[A boulder..!?] I...I see...
It is fortunate that we must call upon Tachigami to utilize it then...such power is far from what I, the man Gongenzaka, would wish to unleash accidentally..!
[
Rip all the players who accidentally used cut instead of Something Else,]no subject
you get to decide the answer here bc gon's smart enough but ammy likes fishing enough too...
H-hopefully then, there were no serious incidents...
[Now he feels nervous about this. Hooof! Deep breaths Gongenzaka.] ...You are correct to say however, that such a technique may prove necessary in coming months however...I, the man Gongenzaka, cannot challenge coming heralds to fishing I imagine...
[did ammy even teach them to use vine for that
did...gongenzaka figure out how to vine fish,]

Yes, Tachigami is a warrior above all else. A good example of how appearances can be deceiving, that mouse is a match for the most legendary of swordsmen. Power Slash is one of the few techniques that can only be used as a weapon.

I see! ...Few?
[Gongenzaka is hardly the sort to get excited about combat-only techniques, but let it never be said that he isn't Curious.]

I, the man Gongenzaka, suppose that makes quite a large amount of sense...it is something defined by an object created to harm something, therefore it remains a tool of harm as well...
[He swallows, perhaps a bit nervously.] I shall endeavor to use this technique only as necessary, as I, the man Gongenzaka, practice then..!

[Achilles never showed him any moves like this.]
Does this technique REQUIRE a giant paintbrush, or will it work with a sword or spear?

i am so late, sorry
[Seems like that would be important info to have in an actual battle, if he only gets one shot at doing anything at all.]

As for Tachigami, he's my second eldest son. He's the Mouse god of Cutting Force, and he understands the food chain so don't worry.

< Right, yeah, a bird's got to eat. What are we practicing on? >

[Ammy moves her brush over the sliced boulder, completely covering it in ink. The ink bursts away, revealing the rock as good as new.]

< Hey, do these spells work with any paintbrush? >

[But then how the heck would he ever wash it off?]
