[OPEN] Knock, knock.
Who: Everyone who wants in!
What: Daybreak's forces come and take out some purple fools and rescue some friends.
When: December 6th
Where: Daibzaal. Galra Central Command in the Outlands
Warnings: Fighting! Vengenace?
The quest to figure out what exactly is happening with the string of disappearances and reappearances leads to a certain lycan clan in the Outlands. The Galra are an acient clan who have amassed a large territory over the years, and make it known in no uncertain terms that their nattles have one of two outcomes: victory or death.
Their stronghold, Daibzaal, is a large technologically advanced fortress deep in the Outlands, where the dim light of the sun doesn't do much to penetrate the aura of darkness. Then again, maybe that's just the aura of darkness that comes hand in hand with what remains of a certain necromancer's Grimm friends.
[ooc: feel free to post your own top levels and thread out whatever shenanigans you would like! the ones I posted are just for organizational purposes!]

OUTSIDE
Within moments, the automated sentries raise their rifles and begin firing down on the intruders. But perhaps that's merely meant as a distraction? At the top of the fortress, a new platform begins to rise revealing several druids and a severely damaged Vraxke gathered around a mobile cannon. The sky around them begins to blacken with darke energy as they begin to perform a ritual to unleash the full power of the Komar -- a fusion between technology and necromacy that creates highly destructive blasts of energy capable of draining the life force out of its targets.

What she doesn't realize however is that something isn't... right. It's not until others have gone on the attack that she pauses on her spot. She can't describe it exactly, more that her body seems to be moving on its own without her needing to do anything.
Though the problem? Is that she's launching herself at the nearest Daybreak person, not giving a remote of a damn about what she's aiming for. Face, body, whatever, it doesn't matter. Stone Free is doing things a little differently from her, taking any opportunity of distraction to form strings to try and wrap around anyone in vicinity and start cutting off circulation slowly but surely.
Dismemberment? Maybe. Deep cuts and blood loss? Absolutely.

She looks up at the platform as it ascends, and shakes her head.]
That high up? It's like they're asking for it.
[With four quick brush strokes in a zig-zag pattern, divine lightning strikes the cannon with the literal wrath of a god.]

The whole fortress looked familiar. Everything about this place looked familiar. He...He HAD been here before! There'd been a guy with a metal arm that he'd bashed in the face! And some weird robots! And, something with eyes...! Blood and darkness those eyes!
Zagreus' face went blank as he continued charging towards Daibzaal with the rest of the Daybreak crew, but beyond that there was absolutely no warning before he abruptly summoned a long, straight sword made out of darkness and swung it around in a backhanded swing towards the person directly to his right.

Today was a day he would make sure the enemies of Daybreak, the tormentors of his students, and the target of his ire would taste the bite of his sword. But that was not the only thing he intended to do when he walked into battle.
Today wasn't just a rescue. Today was about sending a message. Today, they would learn the King of Fear would not be trifled with.
Valvatorez set foot into battle, and calmly walked forth into the hail of gunfire, all shots seemingly missing him, despite several looking like they shouldn't. The sharp-eyed among Daybreak's forces will see he's simply dodging; rather effortlessly, and fast enough that the robotic sentries simply do not hit him. Machines like them probably couldn't feel fear. So that meant little to him... and as soon as he drew close enough to the waves of robotic soldiers, he would tear them to shreds with precise and unmistakably violent slashes. It was just chaff in his way. He would leave the cannon to others, unless his abilities were expressly called for in dealing with it.
No, his objectives were twofold. First, he would find those captured and save them. That was the most important thing. His other, was seeking out the living amongst the Galran. They would see his face. They would know real fear before the end. And he intended to show it to them all, and leave their bodies frozen in terror, so that any who would find them later would receive the message that he intended to leave behind. And he will visit even worse upon anyone who harmed those under his protection.
But first... there was a lot of chaff to be cut down first. Join him, won't you?

Given what has happened one may be surprised. Grimm was incredibly emotional, even when fighting. He took so much joy in it, even when it came to fighting the first Herald. But it's princely because of what has happened that there is no time for jokes or flair. Just brutal efficiently and one pissed off vampire.
The automated sentries barely get a glance even if the shots from the rifles cut through his flesh. Irreverent. Easily regenerated. It doesn't matter, continue. A wave of the hand and they promptly explode under the sheer force of the flame pillars that burst up from under them.
He teleports up closer to the canon and the druids move to face him. Grimm speaks and there is a notable energy in the air when he does. A feeling of pure fear just from a scant few words.]

"I am the shield of the populace and the rock of support - and the sacred lightning that smites the wicked." He chants to himself, his sword drawn as he continues walking towards the fortress unimpeded, unflinchingly.
Once he was close enough, the man stops - raising his weapon to the sky, the entire length of the blade starts glowing, the very air around him crackles and buzzes as the bluish-white light takes on a deep violet hue.

[ flat laughs as he watches the sentries fire away at him. at first it seems that they hit the mark, bullets tearing holes through flat's body. but as soon as it looks damaged beyond repair--
it disappears into the mist. and there's at least 5 copies of flat, practically egging on the sentries. the real flat is much much farther off, running towards the cells, like he had only one mission in mind.
if confronted, the first thing they'll notice is that both his smile and eyes are void of any emotion. the second thing is that he is unarmed, aside from a knife, but the magical levels on him are practically through the roof. ]
I'm looking for o~ne person here. If you could get out of my way, I'd really appreciate it! You know, like a favor between friends?

[Crouched stealthily in the shadows in a corner of the ceiling, Jail eyes the mecha thoughtfully. It looks like pretty impressive construction, but...]
[Slowly, quietly, she pulls out a multitool and focuses on the left front leg. She's pretty sure she knows how to get part of this loose.]
[She's stolen a lot of vehicles in her time. Stealing parts of one while someone's operating it... well, that could be a little more of a challenge.]

But when movement happens, he quietly lifts up his head - and stares directly at whoever's nearby. Though it's difficult for him to speak, there's just one thing that can be seen in those eyes:
Leave me here. I'll only slow you down.
Because, after all...like this, he's merely deadweight.]

Fights are for Chumps - OPEN
That sorta thing just gives Maya a headache.
So once one of the doors opened to let soldiers out, Maya slipped her way in. She alternated her stealth suit off and on based on if she heard Galran's around a corner. Looking for the cells with the prisoners. Of course, this place was huge and there was enough ambient magic just being in the outlands, and all the Galran magitech, she'd need to be much closer to get a beat on anyone she knew.
So... sadly, the stealthy musician is wandering around lost. For now. She was keeping track of where she came, so she can get back out once this is all done. So... think positive.

Her stealth is a much more mundane sort; taking advantage of the commotion to slip by, tripping up or entangling guards on the way to make sure there were less problems to deal with later. Her footsteps aren't concealed, but they are light.
Before turning a corner, she pauses, eyes narrowing. She doesn't think the soldiers would be this stealthy - they were loud, clunky, noisy to a fault - so she doesn't try to skewer first and ask questions later.
"Who's there?"

He only wishes this castle wasn't so gigantic and chaotic. Breaking out had been one thing, trying to connect to the main group and above all find Keith another entirely. ]
God... I can't keep this up forever, why is this castle fucking gigantic...

Let's GO!
[keith smashes his fist down on an display, and red rears up and fires a sustained laser blast at the castle. at first, the shot seems to just glance off, but under sustained fire, it sends a small shockwave through the wall. a new set of alarms start ringing through the interior of the castle, but by then it's a little too late. there's a nice new circular hole in the wall with the red lion's face poking through. keith's already lept out of his seat to go searching on foot.]

Closed 2 Tob
He mostly manages to survive the fight on account of being dead. Claws and weapons leave their mark but in seconds he can shift and will it away. He can feel the drain of energy those canons cause but not nearly as bad as others. He's quick enough to dodge and slip past most things in changing to bones for it.
The moment he starts seeing familiar faces again, bringing with them people who'd been previously gone, he starts scanning for one face, one form really.
"Toby! Tobias!"
