Ako is Coming
Who: Ako, Kohaku, anyone else caught up in the crossfire
What: Ako is coming.
When: December 13th
Where: At and around one of the main lecture halls
Warnings: Enthusiastic violence.
- A: The Rooftops -
On this beautiful winter day, all is well at Daybreak Academy... except that there's an intruder on campus!
Up on the rooftops of the main campus, a suspicious individual can be seen, jumping from building to building. She's no student, and she seems to be armed with a massive sword and a longbow. Sure, she has a visitor pass, but that probably doesn't usually mean you get to parkour up to the roof.
Once she's into position - a ledge overlooking a classroom where Kohaku is currently in attendance - Ako Yuhara gets to work. Putting the sword down, she pulls out a sheet of paper, scrawls a message onto it, rolls it up, and ties it to an arrow. Then, bow in hand and arrow nocked, she takes aim at the window...
- B: Classtime -
A dull day of lecture is interrupted, about two minutes before the period bell, by a most unexpected turn of events. Tearing in through the window like a bolt of lightning, a feathered arrow embeds itself in Kohaku's desk with a loud THUNK.
The message tied to the arrow reads:
Onii-chan,
I'll be waiting for you outside after class lets out. It's time to see how your training has been progressing.
Sincerely, your dear little sister,
Ako
- C: The Fated Duel -
Message delivered in the most obvious way, Ako descends from the rooftops to the promised meeting place. Without any further explanation, she waits, arms folded, the eager grin on her face revealing how much she's looking forward to the battle to come. Young enough to be a student, she nevertheless radiates the aura of a seasoned warrior, possibly some sort of ancient berserker.
Who is this girl, and what's she waiting for...?

First prompt open to others
Kohaku was staring mindlessly into space for the first half of the lecture, not taking notes. She perked you for the second half of class, though, like a deer that just thought it heard something but couldn’t tell what.
She still started when the arrow slammed into her desk, though. A sense of dread dripped down her spine like ice water as she stared at the note. She had a pretty good idea of what it said, but eventually read it all the same.
Let it not be said that Kohaku gave in to fear when faced with her doom. She spent a moment burying her face in her hands, then walked over to open the window and shouted “WHY CANT YOU JUST TEXT ME LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!?”
Then she sat back down and waited for class to end, ignoring the arrow sticking out of her desk.

After finishing up class, Kohaku spent another five minutes psyching herself up. Eventually, however, she did leave the building, and...yup. There she was. This time Kohaku was probably going to die.
“Hey, Ako. Can we not do this today?” or ever? “I am really not in the mood.”
Her hand was on her sword, though. She wasn’t stupid.

His red eyes turned to the vector the arrow came from, catching a brief sight of the archer before she vanished. The vampire made a face, tinged with annoyance, at the interruption, and would approach Kohaku after class.
"I assume you have an explanation for what this was all about?" He gestured to the arrow, still looking a tad miffed about that rude archer causing a disturbance.

Valvatorez reached down and yanked the arrow out of her desk.
"I would have a word with her about this feckless behavior. After all the nonsense we have put up with on this campus from outsiders over the past few months, I grow weary of having to deal with people trying to harass and pick fights with my students. Do you wish me to accompany you?"

Kohaku shrugged resignedly, as if dealing with murderous kid sisters was a universal trial that everyone had to deal with, and that Valvatorez would obviously understand. Who knows with daemons. Maybe he would.

... And yes, she's warily eyeing the arrow at the 'if'.

Whatever Kohaku's response is, it would be interrupted by Ako instantly closing the distance between them for an explosive uppercut.

A.
[Then she gets a good look at who it is.]
Aw fuck no.
[Nope, bye, she's out. Not dealing with this lunatic again, last time was bad enough. It took ages to get all the dents out of her car, not to mention the damage done to the paint job.]

Oh hey, Jail! I didn't know you went here!

[Without missing a beat:]
I don't. You're just hallucinating awesome science ladies right now. Very tragic.
[When in doubt, bullshit shamelessly.]

Things got kinda hectic last time, huh. Did you ever figure out whose car that was?
[It was Jail's car.]

[She doesn't expect Ako to apologize, or even consider apologizing, she just wants it on record that that was her fucking car, goddammit. She's legitimately more upset about the car than the fact that she nearly died multiple times.]
Side note, pretty sure that bear thing you threw at me is still alive somewhere.
[Bear daemon? Daemon bear? Werebear? Just... a bear, but really fucked up? She's honestly never been sure, and there was never a good point during the whole mess to stop and ask about it.]
