WHO: Peter Parker, Zomben, and all sorts of unlucky people
WHAT: Hollow!Uncle Ben (aka Zomben) has started to show up on campus. There will be an open comment (for generally being chased) as well as specific prompts for pre-plotted encounters.
WHEN: Very late on January 27th, forward dated to later in the week as well.
WHERE: Campus in general, also the gazebo in Soleil.

[ Bloodied and bruised, primarily; there are gashes in his clothing, and his left wrist was broken at some point. Happily his healing factor has done a good job of making these injuries unpleasant but not dangerous.

He's alright. ]

I'm - okay, not great, but way better than I look, I promise.

[ DEEP BREATHS. ]

I need your help. And I'm going to sound insane for a minute here.

[There's just, so much to unpack here, and it doesn't look like she's gonna have the time to get through it all.

Peter. What the hell's going on?

[Boy what mess are you in this time.]

[ IT'S. Not his fault. Ish. Mostly. But it sure is par for the course as far as Parker nonsense goes.

More deep breaths. He lost the hollow behind him temporarily, but he doesn't have much time to spare. ]

My uncle. Ben - you know him.

[ Whether she was close to him or not, she would have at least seen him around. Before he died a year and a half ago. ]

He's here. I - I don't know how, but something's out there making undead monsters out of regular dead people. Like him.

[deafleppard]

[There was a lot to unpack just now.]

Zombies.

You're telling me someone made a zombie out of Ben all the way out here?

[ Honestly, hearing her spell it out like that is kind of relieving? He's still distressed, but. ]

Yeah, seriously! It's kinda bonkers! Also horrifying!

Is it... still on the loose?

[Making jokes and quips is all well and good, but this is actually serious.]

Because if it is, then we've gotta stop it.

Yeah. He's still out there.

[ And he looks exhausted. ]

Yeah.

[Gwen nods. Peter might not know it just yet, but she's been through a lot in the time that he's been gone.]

What do you need?

[ He's still assuming she's only done this for a month, with maybe some time dilation from the Outlands or something. ]

I - I have to figure out a way to make him stop. Capture him safely if we can.

[ If he can't ... he'll cross that bridge when he comes to it. ]

Capture, right. We should be able to do that.

[Similar to before, Gwen's clothing begins to lose it form. Becoming much more... fluid, coming to envelop her entire body.

But unlike before, she's still calling the shots. There's no real danger, or threat, as her costume begins to finally take shape.]

[ This is incredibly serious and they don't have time to waste, but -

He stares for a moment as her costume forms, his eyes wide. ]

Whoa. That's - amazing.

[deafleppard]

Huh? Oh, right. You didn't see this before.

[She was too busy trying to kill him, that first time.]

Between you and me? It's pretty amazing.

Now come on, we've got work to do.

[ Oh yeah, he's kind of in mortal peril. And so is Ben. What else is new though? ]

-- Right. Uh - I last saw him out by the frozen lake.

[ And sent him down into it. He doesn't have his costume with him, so he pulls up his hood to ward off the cold and swings out across campus. ]

[Gwen joins in the web-swinging, and she's able to keep up pretty well. Actually, it even looks like she's been doing this for a while with how natural it looks for her.]

Why couldn't he have picked somewhere warmer. And not, you know, a frozen lake.

[ That's kind of amazing? Despite how horrible this situation is he's kind of impressed honestly. Magic costume and she looks like she's been at this longer than he has. ]

I'm trying to slow him down, y'know? Without actually hurting him.

So... how exactly do we draw him out? Do we just yell "fresh tasty humans" at the top of our lungs?

Because I'd be down for that.

[ Gwen. Gwen please. He - looks horrified for a second? And then the horror kind of wraps around to hilarious because what the heck else can he even do. ]

I mean. He might actually respond to that. But I was gonna go back somewhere I saw him before.

Oh, right. Going back to the scene of the crime makes a lot more sense.

[But she might actually be a little disappointed that they're not going for her idea.

Right, yeah. I think - I think he patrols he same areas.
