A new wind blows [OTA]
Who: Giorno and you
What: New student arrival, in person or over the net
When: Starting December 30th
Where: Daybreak Academy
Warnings: None at present
Greetings to everyone, I am a new student here and wanted to introduce myself. I am Giorno Giovanna.
I have recently joined this school, coming from my home of Napoli, Italia. If we meet in person please pardon me if I fall into a familiar tongue for some words, with French and Italian being so close it happens to me a bit. I will strive to be at least understandable.
I am pleased to meet everyone and look forward to studying here and getting to know the people I am now living with.
Thank you.
~Giorno
[Around Campus]
Wherever he is he does his best to exude a sense of belonging, his posture intentionally graceful and artfully relaxed. At five foot eight inches he's not towering, but tall enough to look at least a little older than he is, especially since he is athletically trim, rather than lanky. His blond hair is always neat and cared for, three distinct rings of hair are secured to his hairline in a style reminiscent of victory curls, while the remainder is kept back in a clean short braid, with the very end curled up in a loop to keep the ends from tangling. He has turquoise eyes that seem to study the world around him as he watches, and generous lips that seem quick to smile, even seeming to naturally sit in a happy expression.
His outfit, often in a shade of pink or deep blue, is quite distinctive. The top has a heart shaped cut out which reveals a good portion of his chest, and is decorated with three fist sized pins that are modeled after ladybugs, to attached at the sides of the heart, while the third is set on the center line at his waist. His pants are always matching and cleanly tailored, while his shoes are well kept, with small, matching ladybug decor. All told he has the appearance of a young man who is well put together.
As he people watches he can be seen playing with small objects, like pens or even one of his own pins, and with a shimmer of gold around his hand, they change shape into animals, varying from small snakes and geckos to even kittens, depending on the size of the item he's playing with. The actions seem almost subconscious yet he is always careful about any animal he is holding.

His French was heavily accented with his native Italian, making him sound like he was almost trying to blend the two languages. He was someone who took impeccable care with his appearance, but that didn't stop him from interacting with others, regardless of how they looked. He generally didn't judge other's on it either, he tended to think that people may have their own reasons for how much or little they worried about their appearance.

Her surprise didn't stop her from scrtiching the kitten behind the ears, though. If this guy could generate kittens from nothing, that was a weird power, but probably not the weirdest one in the school.

As she asked this, she picked the new kitten up to look closer at it. It...definitely looked like a kitten, and not like a pin at all.

The kitten mewed and reached a paw out to try and play with the hair it saw dangling, a perfect toy for a kitten to play with.

Kohaku shook her head a bit, jiggling her hair around so it would be more enticing to the kitten. Then she realized she'd skipped a step. "My pardon for not introducing myself. I'm Kohaku, Kohaku Yuhara."

"It's a pleasure to meet you miss Kohaku. My name is Giorno Giovanna." He offered, nodding a bit. "Most people call my Giorno. Is Kohaku you're given name?" He asked, wanting to make sure that those with Japanese names he kept aware of if he was calling them by given or family name.

She played with the kitten a bit more before properly paying attention to him again. "It's...still just a pin, isn't it? It'll turn back the moment you stop concentrating."
no subject
"Hmm Oh, no, if I don't intentionally turn them back, they will stay that way for a while, a few hours normally for something their size." he explains with a slight shrug.

Something occurred to her, though, which distracted her from cats. "Oh, of course. Sorry if my French sounds curiously archaic. I learned it from a ghost who has been dead for over three hundred years."
no subject
He tips his head to the side slightly at her description and nods just slightly. "I see... I'm sure mine is odd sounding as well... being Italian I'm sure I mess up from time to time." He responds, not sure what else he should say, but that was a curious fact about her that he had learned.

Kohaku tossed the kitten turned pin back to Giorno. "You're fine. There used to be a teacher about with an even stronger Italian accent than you."
no subject
He catches the pin easily, and after another glimmer of gold around his hand it morphs again, this time into a snake, large enough to cur around his arm like an ornate piece of jewelry. Almost absentmindedly he pets down it's sleek body, the snake appearing to be a young boa of some kind.

"He didn't really teach me. He just...I guess he possessed me? I didn't LEARN French I just knew it all of the sudden. I didn't even noticed until I'd called a waitress a wench."
