A new wind blows [OTA]
Who: Giorno and you
What: New student arrival, in person or over the net
When: Starting December 30th
Where: Daybreak Academy
Warnings: None at present
Greetings to everyone, I am a new student here and wanted to introduce myself. I am Giorno Giovanna.
I have recently joined this school, coming from my home of Napoli, Italia. If we meet in person please pardon me if I fall into a familiar tongue for some words, with French and Italian being so close it happens to me a bit. I will strive to be at least understandable.
I am pleased to meet everyone and look forward to studying here and getting to know the people I am now living with.
Thank you.
~Giorno
[Around Campus]
Wherever he is he does his best to exude a sense of belonging, his posture intentionally graceful and artfully relaxed. At five foot eight inches he's not towering, but tall enough to look at least a little older than he is, especially since he is athletically trim, rather than lanky. His blond hair is always neat and cared for, three distinct rings of hair are secured to his hairline in a style reminiscent of victory curls, while the remainder is kept back in a clean short braid, with the very end curled up in a loop to keep the ends from tangling. He has turquoise eyes that seem to study the world around him as he watches, and generous lips that seem quick to smile, even seeming to naturally sit in a happy expression.
His outfit, often in a shade of pink or deep blue, is quite distinctive. The top has a heart shaped cut out which reveals a good portion of his chest, and is decorated with three fist sized pins that are modeled after ladybugs, to attached at the sides of the heart, while the third is set on the center line at his waist. His pants are always matching and cleanly tailored, while his shoes are well kept, with small, matching ladybug decor. All told he has the appearance of a young man who is well put together.
As he people watches he can be seen playing with small objects, like pens or even one of his own pins, and with a shimmer of gold around his hand, they change shape into animals, varying from small snakes and geckos to even kittens, depending on the size of the item he's playing with. The actions seem almost subconscious yet he is always careful about any animal he is holding.

I am, you must be Tobias then, correct?
[A red-tailed hawk? He has only read about them, never seen one in person, so it's quiet interesting to experience. Of course, this also means that he'll eat anything he can catch, but it gives him an idea of just how small to avoid, if he's going to allow something to move without him.]
It's a pleasure to meet you.

< Right, that's me. Nice to meet you too. > [Manners!] < So, do you have one with you right now? >

[He takes one of the large ladybug broaches off his shirt and holds it in his hand. To most it would like there was gold glitter around his hand, but the hawk would be able to see, for a moment in time, there is a golden colored hand overlaying his own, like a second skin. It's there and gone quickly, imparting the energy needed. And the broach is changing shape right in front of him, heart beat and lungs, every sign of being a living creature, in the fancy rat now in the teens hand.]
This is because I only used one broach, but if I used something larger, I could make larger.
sob I'm sorry
< Nice. > [A short pause.] < Yeah, I'm not sure how to tell it apart from a real rat. I mean, it looks like someone's pet, I wouldn't hurt it anyway, but... >
[Consider him stumped.]
Don't be, don't be <3
[He has no intention of teasing the other with this, so once it's been seen and evaluated, with another fraction of a second flicker of that golden second skin, the rat is changing back into a broach.]
I will especially try to stick to things like cats, dogs... easily identifiable. But that will only be if I'm not keeping them with me, since I highly doubt you will be likely to try to grab something that is on a person.

[He's not used to having one... and also having people who want to contact him, but he does use it for reading!]
< And I'd have to be suicidal before going after a cat or a dog, they're too big. I don't hunt squirrels either, can't remember if I mentioned that. They're safe to make. >

[Once the broach is back in the right shape he deftly hooks it to his shirt before considering something.]
In addition, I can tie a bit of cloth on anything that might normally be prey, so that it's marked in a way. Ideally anything I make and release will be moving with a purpose, not acting completely natural, so those things might help.
