A. Egg

[ Vivi has been dutifully going to classes and really not much else for the past month, and staying in his room the rest of the time. But around early June, when the weather is well and truly warmed up, you can see him trundling across campus determinedly with a well-swaddled bundle. The sled he'd used for Jailbreak's class a few months back has been repurposed to hold this vaguely spherical burden.

What is it? What is it for? It's a mystery, at least if you don't just ask him about it. He can be found towing it everywhere, and anxiously checking on it. ]

B. Chicken(???)

[ About a week in, the sled has stopped containing a bundle of blankets, and now contains a nest. Vivi is still dragging it around and anxiously checking on its wellbeing, but the creature within seems far more active.

This is because it's a fluffy little bird of some kind. It seems to be enjoying the sun, at least, and the amount of freedom it has, though its rapid, urgent chirping and peeping at various points of the day indicate that it's almost constantly hungry, and is probably a major source of Vivi's visible anxiety.

If Vivi knows you, he might ask you for tips on bird or pet care, completely unprompted. He's doing his best. ]

Well met, Vivi. Is that that health class project with the fake baby?

[What a cute tiny bird... As for the question on bird care, though--]

I can't say I'm used to taking care of pets, but it might be hungry?

[Excuse her though, she's gonna see about petting this cute lil feathery friend.]

[He smiles faintly, seeing Vivi and the subject of his fussing about, though goodness - it's quite a noisy little baby.

Sherlock tentatively put his hand out towards it]

It might be hungry, maybe try some seeds or grub?

[Puella was not around the egg constantly as much as Vivi was but she still offered a hand whenever possible. Whenever Vivi needed something or a shift change.]

Has it hatched yet??? [She also just wanted to see bird babyyy. Given how cute the bigger ones were this one had to be adorable.]

[Well, somebody certainly seems to have acquired a pet, though Desi's not sure where from or when, considering Vivi hasn't been out and about too much since that last mission.

She's not at all familiar with how to care for birds of any sort, but it's pretty clear that Vivi's little friend there really wants something.]

Ah, Vivi? He— [Is it a he? Maybe, maybe not. She corrects herself for now and keeps on going.] It's probably hungry. Do you know what it eats?

[Did someone need a bird expert?? Well, there's no way he won't get involved. The new baby is absolutely adorable, touching off some surprisingly strong dad-hawk instincts in him... he wants to feed and preen and cherish.

But all he does is perch on the side of the sled, checking in on Baby. It'll probably outgrow him pretty quickly...]

[ You know what time it is.

Indrik is listening more to his cat type instincts today as he attempts to sneak up on the bird. This hindered by the fact his fat belly scrapes the ground as he 'stalks', and his tail swishing smacks into a bin and knocks it over and he's making a constant 'mrrnmrrnmrrn' cow noise as he approaches. ]

[Gongenzaka, rather to the point, smells something. The werebear- currently more human than not of course- sniffs at the air as the scent increases, brows furrowed as he tries to sort out just what it is.

Ultimately when it's especially close he finally decides to just track it down, rose petals swirling behind him as he goes.

He's rather surprised to see what it is.] Auh...

Is...that a sled? [Because well, obviously what's ON the sled is an EGG.]
