Bananas for all...!
A. MAKESHIFT BAKE SALES
[Except it's free.
Nana has carved out a little space on the Quad and set-up a stall -- she actually has a collapsible one, for just this purpose -- and a big sign that says "BANANICE BREAD, COOKIES, AND MUFFINS!" There are little hearts and stars drawn on it for good measure.
And, indeed, there is a cornucopia (plaintainacopia?) on the stall, with baked muffins, slices of banana bread, and cookies. There are also some slices of banana cream pie, though those are in shorter supply. And Nana is behind them, looking cheerful as ever.
There are no price tags.]
B. KATANA PRACTICE TIME
[In the Mythril Cage, Nana has taken some time to work on her sparring. She is wearing a tank top and shorts -- and, for once, her hair isn't pinned up in banana-shaped tails, but is instead in a loose ponytail behind her. Her hair is a lot longer than it looks, normally; it hangs down past her shoulders.
She isn't, at the moment, using her Flame-summoned katanas; she is, instead, using wooden practice swords. She has paired blades in her hands, and has just finished with one of the forms she learned. She swings the blades down, resting the tips against the mats, and sighs.]
Hm, still need some work...
[She murmurs it aloud; probably to herself, but anyone nearby might well hear. She was off in her own little world, and didn't quite notice.]
C. COMING IN AFTER A HIKE (Lumiere 3rd floor)
[Very periodically, Nana goes out into the woods outside of Daybreak for a hike. She doesn't usually tell people when she's leaving; she usually isn't gone for more than a couple hours. It, perhaps, looks like when she is getting some 'her' time.
But today she is rolling in a little after dinner, closer to 8:00 PM, because it took longer. Her hiking boots have a few dried, dead leaves stuck to them -- and her coat has some flecks of snow dust on it, though she wiped most off.
She yawns, stifling it with her hand, as she trudges down the hall.]

When she paused and murmured her thoughts aloud, he overheard them, and approached.]
I've never seen a fighting style like that before, Nana. You looked pretty cool, I gotta say.
no subject
Oh, hello, Gunvolt!
[Nana laughs.] Thank you. I've been practicing a lot for over a year, now. I've had to make up for lost time.
no subject
[He blinked, wondering if it was simply because of when her powers awakened, or if there was something else that had interfered with her training.]
That looked like it was pretty hard, too. I've heard even using one katana can take a long time to learn how to use well, let alone trying to dual wield them.
no subject
But she laughs, a little.]
But my Flame gave me two katana. So... I had to learn to use them as fast as I could.
no subject
That makes sense. Have you talked to Professor Kiske? He sounds like a swordsman of some great skill. If you need an opponent sometime, he might be a good benchmark for your training?
[Not that there aren't plenty of accomplished swordsmen at the Academy, he was just the first one that came to mind.]

Nana~! Hello~!
[He hasn't seen much of her since the banquet, but somehow he's not surprised to find another table full of banana things; even if it is the middle of winter and she's decided to set this up outside.]
Where do you bake all these!? Do you have an oven in your dorm room!?
no subject
She waves, then nods. Her eyes drift down to the food on her table.]
Not in my dorm room! But I use the kitchen on the first floor sometimes!
[A lot. Almost daily.]
no subject
[Somewhere closer than the science lab to utilize for making... things.]
Are you cold out here? I can bring you coffee~!
no subject
[Then Nana blinks.]
Oh, no, please, you don't need to trouble yourself!

[Viola is playing closer to both their type, and with same gendered characters Yuya decides to leave the choice to her.]
no subject
[Nana always liked this. It's a way to relax -- and to practice both English and delivery. And, it's a chance to really drill down into a character and a script, and think about how to perform it.
Besides, Yuya's someone who she doesn't mind not being sure she could get the roll right with.]
I could try Olivia. I'm a little against type, but.. it's not bad?
no subject
[He grins with an encouraging thumbs up, then looks back to the script.] That means you have the first line, so you can start when you're ready.

Give me my veil: come, throw it o'er my face. [She plucks a hoodie off a chair, then tugs the coat on, before pulling her hood up.]
We'll once more hear Orsino's embassy.

He doesn't have much money on him, so he fingers the wallet in his coat pockets a little as he looks from item to item, to the hearts and stars on the sign, and very belatedly finally makes eye contact with Nana. ]
...What's a "bananice"?
no subject
[Nana motions to everything here, which is -- in fact -- banana-flavored. Her smile suggests she is rather proud of this pun. She claps her hands together.]
So all of this is Bananice!
Take whatever you'd like!
no subject
...It's pretty bananice. Mm... Better than nice. Bananalicious?
[ It's good, surprisingly so, especially when he isn't used to French cuisine in general and still longs for Japanese food that he'd had to go without for the past several years of his life. Food is food and food is good. ]
Did you bake all this? What's it for?
no subject
[She looks on happily -- even replacing the taken slice with one that she'd kept under the table.]
I did! It's... well, it's just to be nice. I thought the other students might like some food, so...

His eyes trail her appearance, then he smirks and raises an eyebrow.]
Bury a body, banana jammer?
no subject
Hello, Maverick! No, no! I was just taking a hike.
[...to do something secret, but shh.]
It's a nice way to get my mind off things.
no subject
I didn't know your mind got on things other than theater and bananas, preferably not in that order -- and yes, I'm aware how fucking shitty that sounds.
[He's being open and honest! A good, trustworthy boy doing nothing wrong!!]
no subject
...I think about plenty of things. Even if I do like theater and bananas a lot.

Oh, hey! How much're these?

no subject
Blinks?]
Oh, they're free!
no subject
[ ...Though he's really not sure what a bananice even is, he couldn't resist the pun. He still feels like there should be some kind of tip jar to drop some change into or something, but after hesitating a moment longer, he picks up one of the banana muffins to munch on. He kinda woke up too late this morning for breakfast... ]
You must really like bananas, huh?
no subject
[Nana looks delighted at the use of the pun. She claps her hands together. Indeed, there's no tip jar in sight.]
They're my favorite food! And I've learned some new recipes since coming here, too...
