WHO: DRAMA CLUB!
WHAT: It's the first club meeting of the year! Let's meet and greet, and then talk about the fall play and our New York trip!
WHEN: January 19th
WHERE: Whatever theatre space there is. Probably Theatre Lenormand?
"Welcome to drama club!"
Michael wait until everyone is present and settled before spreading his hands, creating a few illusory flashes of colored light. Things like this are why a teacher with no actual theatre experience ended up in charge of this club. The meeting is happening in one of the school's rehearsal spaces, which is empty save for a circle of chairs. "For those of you who haven't met me, I'm Michael, your faculty adviser. Now, we're going to start things off with a little warm-up. Two truths and a lie! You - " Michael points to the student to his right. " - start. We'll go around the circle. Should be fun."
This is what you get for having a daemon as your faculty adviser. Icebreakers.
When that's over - entirely without said daemon participating, he is above this - Michael claps his hands together. "So! Some of you know this already, but this year, we've secured funding to take a club trip! We're going to New York City. Gonna see the sights, go to a few shows, all that stuff. This'll be after mid-terms, so don't worry about it right now. You should be focusing on your schoolwork, and responsible things like that. But seriously, who wants to see what? Oh, and you should pick out the play you want to do in the fall. I do have veto power on that, but I also don't really care."

Then she looks at him, blinking.] Well... I mean... it would be nice to do it again...
...but I'm not sure they'll let us... and Kano-san did write a fun script. And... something with a happier ending... it might be nice.
But... I did really like it.

He scrolls down until he gets to the part actually formatted like a script.] Wow, that's a heavy start. Is it a tragedy?

I think it has a happy ending, though! The bee saves the world!

I want to build the sets, really. And the costumes!

[Nana beams, then nods her head.] I definitely try! Having bee hive sets sounds exciting... and the scaling for the human characters, if we can...
