[OPEN] TRUTH OR DARE PARTY AIN'T LIKE ANY OTHER PARTY
WHO: Sarona and everyone else. It's a free for all.
WHERE: Floor Lounge of Aube Dorm
WHEN: Late Night January 18th
WHAT: LATE NIGHT GAME PARTY. TRUTH OR DARE OR TRIPLE DOG STARE.
WARNINGS: HIJINKS. Language, kids doing stupid things for fun, possible light age-appropriate sexual content, but it should be warned for (keep it PG13 and below!)
Everyone should have received the mass IRIS message earlier that day:
One week down and more to go
Catch a zombie by the toe
If you're scared don't let it show
Dare to act or tell all you know
Join us for Truth or Dare in the communal lounge of Aube Floor 1.
Food and drinks will be provided, but there's always room for more.
Fun starts @ 8PM. Later you are, the harder the dares.
Anyone who decides to join in on the fun will find the communal lounge set up with couches, chairs, and tables placed around the edges, to make the center of the room open for people to move through. Subs, chips, a fruit and cheese platter, and unopened cans and bottles of soda and water on their own separate table. On another table is two unused fishbowls with strips of paper and pens next to them. On one fishbowl is written: Put name in bowl.
Sarona is going to wait until eight o'clock on the dot to start.
"So here's the rules. You ask 'Truth or Dare?' They answer 'Dare' or 'Truth.' Don't come up with anything that'll get the RAs on us, okay? You get one refusal, that's it. Otherwise you agreed to be here and you agreed to the game, don't chicken out on us."
And then she grabs the fish bowl and holds it up for everyone to see. "If you don't know who to pick when it's your turn, pick a name out of the jar. If you only call on your friends and/or enemies, you'll have to pick a name out of the jar. No breaking off into little groups. That's boring."
She sets it down and then gives a little grin, "Now let the fun begin."
{OOC: Have fun! Make your own prompts as the darer or the dared, etc, in the act of completing a dare or telling a truth, it's all good! This is a completely open log. Again, warn for any potential sexual content, violence, or disturbing content.}

[So she didn't come with her, technically?]
She kept it a secret for a long time! But I was very glad to have someone here that I already knew.
[Orihime shrugs with a smile.]
What about you? Did you know anyone here when you arrived?
no subject
It's different. Being around people my own age.
[That might be a lot of truth, but it is the name of the game, right?]
no subject
[Coming here must have been a little scary. Orihime smiles, proud of his efforts.]
They're nice, too. That helps a lot, when you're trying to adjust to a new place.
[She gestures slightly toward the room with an open hand.]
Do you want to take a turn now? Truth or dare? You definitely don't have to!
no subject
[Given how easy it is for him to talk to Orihime, he's actually curious what she'll make him do.]
no subject
[And unexpected, but it's a good surprise. She tips her head back, tenting her fingers as she thinks hard about what kind of dare would be suitable. Nothing too humiliating of course, but if she goes too easy on him, he might resent any kind of social coddling that inhibits his experience. So something right in the middle...]
...Got it! Show off your fanciest attack move against an invisible enemy, and then strike your best victory pose!

Ren makes sure there's no one immediately around him before attacking with a few light jabs before backflipping with a kick. He doesn't have a set style of fighting. Just one borrowed from every Hunter he's ever trained under. This one looks a lot like capoeira, transforming from backflipping kick to a low sweeping attack before springing back to his feet and then...!
Dramatic finger pointing. Yep, that's his pose. Phoenix Wright would be so proud.]

[Never mind the fact that Truth or Dare doesn't even have points. He's still earned them. She's never seen a martial artist perform up close like this, and she's completely fascinated.]
The monsters at the dance won't be expecting that kind of agility, that's for sure. That was great!
no subject
Since the monsters are going to show up, have you scouted around where you'll be?
[Especially as she's a novice fighter and that her powers are kind of on the passive side, if he recalls correctly.]
no subject
[She smiles, seemingly unconcerned with the fact that demons are going to crash their ball. It gives her a reason to go!]
We know there's going to be fire, and my best friend is a really skilled psychic who can use telekinesis to move things, so we're putting water cooler jugs around and fireproof blankets. And I'm fixing my dress so I can carry a baseball bat and a crowbar in a hidden place under the skirt!
[And she seems proud of that.]
I'd ask the same, but you've probably already memorized the entire place, right?
