Who: Adelaide & You!
When: Late August
Where: Aube, various spots around campus.
What: Some culinary experimentation, free food, and...practice.
Warnings: There shouldn’t be any!
aube;
Oh, no.
[Adelaide is good at cooking - and especially good at baking. However, she’s still young. She can’t possibly know everything yet. And after getting two requests - well, okay, one was a request and the other one was just an offhand mention - she’s decided to expand her repertoire.
Which! Was going well! And then it wasn’t, because she panicked and tried to overcorrect and now there’s a sticky white mass on the counter. It’s stuck to her hands, too, and there’s even some in her hair.]
Shit.
outside aube;
[Adelaide doesn’t have a sign the way Nana does, but she does have free food. This month it seems she’s gotten a hankering for pies, as the table is covered in them. Large pies, small pies, other kinds of filled pastries. There’s even a selection of what seems to be handmade marshmallows, as well as baklava and, of course, cookies.
She’s been busy and she might have had a disaster or two, but there’s still free food.
There’s also a sign stuck to the front of the table, saying that she takes requests! There’s even a smiley face drawn on it.]
furry friends;
[You know what they say - practice makes perfect. Adelaide’s basically perfected being a bat, but that means there’s still more she can learn about being a cat. So, it’s entirely possible to see a fluffy black cat in various spots on campus - sometimes in places it seems like a cat shouldn’t be.
Or you might run into something considerably larger and more dangerous than a cat. The wolf seems shockingly docile, though, simply staring out at people and wagging its tail.]
wildcard;

And luckily for her, Adelaide is prepared. She crouches down, rummaging under the table before reappearing with a bag that clearly came from one of the local stores.]
You got it!
[And once she's done picking through everything, she'll had the bag out.]

Grazie mille, ah— [...and realizing that neither of them actually knows who the other is; though it'll likely change once classes actually begin, Desi hasn't spent too much time out of her room except to go to lunch, or to the library, or to see Valvatorez for one reason or another.] I'm sorry, I probably should have asked first; your name? Mine is Desidera.

[And she grins at the other girl.]
It's nice meeting you, Desidera.
