Autumn Bananas~
Who: Nana, open!
When: First half of September, before the Wild Hunt.
Where:
What: School year starting! A new class president! The Banana Stand never leaves our hearts! Also if you want a specific thread hit me up on Plurk?
Warnings: The new Student Council uniforms are fabulous.
A. BANANA STAND (open!)
[The Banana Stand looks... fabulous today.
Actually, the stand itself is the same wooden construction as always. Nice, solid wood; painted white; a poster with a frog on it; and a big banner that says "BANANICE." There's the usual array of muffins, bread, cookies, and -- new for fall -- cupcakes, with banana-flavored frosting. She stands behind them, hands crossed behind her.
But Nana's a little to the side. Because the new class President is in her fabulous new uniform. But, more than that, it's making a constant swirl of red rose petals. And those waft and go, threatening the baked goods. Indeed, nearby... several rose petal-smothered frosted cupcakes have been retired to the trashcan.]
B. SO MUCH CLASSWORK (open!)
[Being student council President is busy. In this case, Madam President is studying outdoors. She doesn't seem to mind wearing her uniform; she's sitting on a grassy area in the quad, back against a tree, and scribbling on notes -- or reading one of her books.
But it's okay to bother her! Case in point, she has a sign posted by her: "Please bother me if you need something! ♥"
And she doesn't look quite as tired as last month, either.]
C. ELEVATOR RIDE OF DESTINY (closed to Student Council)
[The tallest tower of Grand Hall is where the Student Council is based out of.
And it's time to see their new digs for the first time. Normally, the elevator is fast -- but there's a tradition on the first day. A tradition of the elevator moving dramatically slowly, rising towards the top. And it's been about a minute... all the while, some questionable musical accompaniment is piped in.
About a minute into the elevator ride, Nana blinks and smiles pleasantly.]
This is a little much.

Nana can always rely on Yuya.
She smiles, nodding quickly.]
I'm afraid so. I need to find a way to turn this off.
He's here for her!!
He also grabs a cupcake and takes a huge bite.] I don't think I got to tell you yet, but congratulations. I knew you were the best person for the job!
no subject
I'm really glad I won. I think I can do a lot for everyone!
[She does a little twirl.] And the uniform is great, isn't it?

no subject
[Even if she wants to take on

herself. She knows she can't.]
no subject
[Or should they like, pick from existing scripts. Yuya's been distracted by all the chaos, he couldn't focus over the summer.]
no subject
[Nana may be stubborn. Besides... they can't just not do Kano's last prank on the school.]
no subject
no subject
You're a good man, Yuya Sakaki.
no subject
He pockets his phone again with a laugh.] I want to see the play succeed, too! There's no way I could just leave you doing all this stuff by yourself.
[Stop taking everything on your own shoulders, Nana.]
no subject
[She beams, then puts her hands on her hips, and looks around. There's a bit of a breather before more people will come seeking banana-flavored baked goods.]
How've you been? I know we didn't get to see each other much over summer...
no subject
[He's about to detail what's been happening the past month, which isn't much. But then he stops, eyes widening and his face turns a little red.]
no subject
Ah, Yuya?
no subject
He waves his hands in the air, wildly, spraying a few crumbs as he grunts and he's sorry, Nana, he's just like this.
He swallows the cupcake and looks down shyly.] Uh, yeah, I'm... dating someone now?
[It's Nana, she'll probably find out no matter what. But it's still weird to admit. That he's actually dating someone after repressing his feelings forever.]
no subject
[Good thing she's an actress because that innocent, "I had no part in this" smile looks really legit.]
Who are you dating, Yuya? I'm very happy for you!
no subject
So far.]
no subject
Oh, I'm so glad! He asked me for advice, and... ah, I wasn't sure if I was giving good advice, but...
[She nods, happy as can be.] I'm happy for you two! I've been rooting for you for awhile!
no subject
no subject
[Since he posted Gon to the hot or not post, really.]
no subject
[Except Yuya's feelings are very serious, but he's trying not to overwhelm Gon and scare him off.]
no subject
[She reaches over and pats him on the shoulder.]
no subject
But that's not something he can voice, so he shakes his head.] Y--yeah. Eh, I bet now that you're school president you'll have all the boy's attention!
[Except these boys, obviously.]
no subject
[She smiles, then she shakes her head.]
...I don't really want a lot of attention like that right now. I'm still getting over our now-absent script writer.
no subject
You... really liked him a lot, didn't you? [Or, still do. He knew she had a crush, and Kano clearly had one back. But...]
no subject
[She glances down, then she shakes her head.] I guess it left me confused enough that I don't think I know what I wanted, or what I was doing, as well as I thought I did.
