Who: Hieke & You
What: Infirmary catch-all & a call for help
Where: The infirmary & elsewhere on campus
When: February
Warnings: Potential discussions of injury, probably.
a; the necessities
[The infirmary has seen a lot in the first month of the quarter alone - friends were born here and eventually taken away, people have been sick and injured and that's not even including the injuries people didn't go to the infirmary for. But come February, Hieke is a little bit more prepared for things. The infirmary is kept as tidy as ever, and he's even decorated for the holiday!
There are vases filled with flowers on his desk, and he's awkwardly taped some heart shaped decor to the wall. There was an attempt and that accounts for everything, even if he doesn't know anything about Valentine's Day.
However, the infirmary isn't only for the sick or injured. Students taking Hieke's class are more than welcome to stop by to ask for help or ask general questions - there's an office set aside for him, but he spends all of his hours in the infirmary anyways. It's the best place to catch him.]
b; the network (un: hieke)
Good afternoon.
I'm sorry to bother everyone, but I'm looking for something. A mushroom - native to the Outlands - that's not dangerous or anything, just a little mischievous. It managed to find out how to open the windows in my room, and now it's loose and locate and summoning magic were something I never spent much time studying.
It's about a foot tall, with a pale orange cap, so it should be pretty distinct. If you see it, please let me know! And mind the spores.
c; the wildcard
[If you want anything else or need Hieke for anything, let me know!]

A
[Michael wanders in, looking around at the Valentine's decorations idly. He's only been here once before, when he brought Tyzias in after her whole incident. This guy probably knows that he stuck around in her room until she woke up....ugh.]
I need you to show me how to fix humans when they break. You teach some kind of class on that, right?
no subject
Yeah, I do. [There's a slow, slow raise of an eyebrow.] Do you have any prior experience at all?
no subject
[He means maiming.]
no subject
no subject
[Awesome! He's gonna be great at this!]
And I can usually tell what's happened, if it's an injury. Oh, once I actually helped someone who'd lost an arm! ["Someone", he says, like he's not known friends with Robot Arm Tyzias]
no subject
Right, right. That's good! Knowing the cause can really help when it comes to actual healing.
[The briefest of pauses.]
But, uh, do you know anything about medicine at all? Not that you need to, but...
no subject
I know bloodletting doesn't work. You're not still doing that, right?
no subject
no subject
[.........so the takeaway here is probably that no, he doesn't know all that much about modern medicine.]
no subject
[Neither of them are probably all that qualified when it comes to medicine, to be honest, but that's valid.]
But I guess this means we can skip the first aid portion.
no subject
[Blood goes on the inside and so do bones! Obviously this is all the first aid knowledge required!]
no subject
[He holds up his hands.]
Have you ever tried to restart a heart?
no subject
[Tyzias's arm was probably the worst thing he's ever had to personally address, and at that point he'd only been kinda trying.]
no subject
[Because, you know, that's valid.
Hieke scratches at his cheek, humming under his breath thoughtfully.]
You know, you could always just attend my classes if you want to learn. I'm not sure I'll really have the time for special lessons?
[Because the children on this campus are hellbent on getting into incredible amounts of danger.]
no subject
[You've gotta get creative and shit, bro]
I was hoping to do that, actually! Just didn't wanna start auditing you without any warning. People get weird about that. [Okay, they mostly get weird about literal daemons standing in dark corners and watching them silently.]
no subject
It'll be fine - and I'm sure the students won't mind, either. Not that it's really their decision, but...
[They might find it kind of unsettling, probably? But it's fine! They can still learn, even with a daemon standing in a dark corner.]
no subject
[He doesn't have to literally stand in a dark corner. But he does tend to lurk a little.]
I'll be there, then. I've gotta say, these students are killing me with their insane attempts to die.
no subject
I've never seen humans act like this before. Maybe I'm out of touch, but you'd think they'd have some self-preservation...
no subject
[He's made his share of sneaky ones, but he's pretty sure half the kids here would just outright trade their soul away for a six-pack of Mountain Dew.]
no subject
[Not a lot of foresight, even among some of the seers.]
They have to want to learn, and most of them...
