Who: Hieke & You
What: Infirmary catch-all & a call for help
Where: The infirmary & elsewhere on campus
When: February
Warnings: Potential discussions of injury, probably.
a; the necessities
[The infirmary has seen a lot in the first month of the quarter alone - friends were born here and eventually taken away, people have been sick and injured and that's not even including the injuries people didn't go to the infirmary for. But come February, Hieke is a little bit more prepared for things. The infirmary is kept as tidy as ever, and he's even decorated for the holiday!
There are vases filled with flowers on his desk, and he's awkwardly taped some heart shaped decor to the wall. There was an attempt and that accounts for everything, even if he doesn't know anything about Valentine's Day.
However, the infirmary isn't only for the sick or injured. Students taking Hieke's class are more than welcome to stop by to ask for help or ask general questions - there's an office set aside for him, but he spends all of his hours in the infirmary anyways. It's the best place to catch him.]
b; the network (un: hieke)
Good afternoon.
I'm sorry to bother everyone, but I'm looking for something. A mushroom - native to the Outlands - that's not dangerous or anything, just a little mischievous. It managed to find out how to open the windows in my room, and now it's loose and locate and summoning magic were something I never spent much time studying.
It's about a foot tall, with a pale orange cap, so it should be pretty distinct. If you see it, please let me know! And mind the spores.
c; the wildcard
[If you want anything else or need Hieke for anything, let me know!]

Thank you.
[And she does feel better, at least a little. Maybe she's a bit headachey and tired from sobbing her guts out, but it seems like she needed this more than she realized.]
C...compromise...? I'll text if there's an emergency, but you rest while we patrol?
no subject
Yeah. I can do that. But you have to text me, okay? No deciding it's too dangerous.
no subject
[She relaxes a little, feeling much better about this. No unnecessary risks, no guilt at leaving him behind or needing him to fight with her to save her only family.]
Ah ha ha...I'm a little worn out. Maybe I'll stay with you a while at the infirmary.
no subject
Looks like there's plenty of beds. I could probably pull one over.
no subject
[Why not. She should be rested before she goes on patrol anyway, and she doesn't think a freak accident would happen there. So she nods a little, and eases her grip to draw back.]
Okay. Let's do that, then. Thank you.
[She grins and wipes at her eyes with her sleeve.]
I guess I kind of needed this. You're awesome.
no subject
Hey, I really don't mind. Probably safer for both of us not to be alone right now anyway, right?
[ He's just gonna get up to go drag a bed over. Was it bolted to the floor? Not any more. ]
no subject
[So it's totally justified and normal! Absolutely. She gets a cup of water from the cooler, drinking it while her eyebrows rise at just how easily Peter moves a bed. He might be tired, but he's still impossibly strong. She keeps forgetting he's got super strength since he doesn't exactly flaunt it.]
[When he's finished, she smiles, tossing the cup before cheerfully applauding him.]
That looks great! Thank you!
[She pulls down a thin blanket from the closet, then sits on the edge of the newly moved bed to slip off her shoes and unzip her coat to hang it up on one of the posts.]
no subject
You're welcome. I figure that's way easier than sleeping in a chair.
no subject
[And she doesn't even mind the closeness. They already fell asleep propped up on each other's shoulders, so really, it's not a big deal. She tugs the blanket up over her legs before settling down on her side so she can face him.]
[In spite of everything, this brings her peace. It might not last long, but after so much stress and pain in the past few days? It means the world to her.]
[Holding his hand might seem too intimate, but...the wrist is okay, right? Because that's where she's resting her fingers, right on his forearm.]
Thank you. I'm really happy we got to meet.
no subject
Me too, Orihime. For sure.
