open;

Who: Hieke & You
What: Infirmary catch-all & a call for help
Where: The infirmary & elsewhere on campus
When: February
Warnings: Potential discussions of injury, probably.

a; the necessities

[The infirmary has seen a lot in the first month of the quarter alone - friends were born here and eventually taken away, people have been sick and injured and that's not even including the injuries people didn't go to the infirmary for. But come February, Hieke is a little bit more prepared for things. The infirmary is kept as tidy as ever, and he's even decorated for the holiday!

There are vases filled with flowers on his desk, and he's awkwardly taped some heart shaped decor to the wall. There was an attempt and that accounts for everything, even if he doesn't know anything about Valentine's Day.

However, the infirmary isn't only for the sick or injured. Students taking Hieke's class are more than welcome to stop by to ask for help or ask general questions - there's an office set aside for him, but he spends all of his hours in the infirmary anyways. It's the best place to catch him.]

b; the network (un: hieke)

Good afternoon.

I'm sorry to bother everyone, but I'm looking for something. A mushroom - native to the Outlands - that's not dangerous or anything, just a little mischievous. It managed to find out how to open the windows in my room, and now it's loose and locate and summoning magic were something I never spent much time studying.

It's about a foot tall, with a pale orange cap, so it should be pretty distinct. If you see it, please let me know! And mind the spores.

c; the wildcard

[If you want anything else or need Hieke for anything, let me know!]

Thanks man.

[ He seems in good spirits, at least; Orihime's healed him up. There's a few faint scars going from his right eye back towards his temple, but they are very faint. ]

Am I pretty much all fixed now? I mostly feel tired.

[ Peter blinks at HIeke, genuinely confused. ]

Scars? What scars?

[ What the heck. He feels the spot, frowning a little? Then gets out his phone so that he can look. Yep, those are some scars, all right. Incredibly faint, but still present. And noticeable, yikes. If his aunt sees them... ]

If you can fix em, that'd be amazing. My aunt's gonna flip out when she sees this.

[ Indeed, the scars fade completely. The skin smooths over once he applies his healing, just as it should.

And yet ... as soon as Hieke finishes his healing, Peter winces. His skin seems to crack a bit in the same spot, a faint glow coming from the spot. And then, just as quickly as Hieke had healed the scars, they reappear again. ]

[ It all depends on what kind of sense Hieke has. Whether he can sense the fae pact or the glamour on top, whether he can sense that Peter's undead under everything. But - regardless, the damage isn't actually to Peter's body. Instead, this crack is a sign of damage that's been done to a spell that's been laid on him. What that spell does is, again, up to Hieke to detect or not. But it's the spell keeping Peter alive; something has done damage to it.

Anyway. Peter jolts a bit, swallowing thickly. That's a yes. ]

I've been fighting these undead monsters. I didn't think they'd done anything like that to me, but ...

[ But he doesn't know that for sure. ]

[ As soon as Hieke sees what kind of spell has been laid on Peter - and realizes what Peter actually is - he winces again. Another crack joins the others on his face already, faint but still quite distinct. Peter, meanwhile, stops breathing for a second. He wavers in bed, nearly falling over; it's a darn good thing he's already seated, or he might have collapsed. As it is, a wave of dizziness overcomes him for a moment.

Breathe, Peter. Remember how to breathe. ]

I - yeah. At least one. It's going after spirits of the dead that already here. Turning them against their loved ones.

[ He gulps in another breath, holding his head. ]
