Who: Yuya, people invited to his birthday
When: March 1
Where: Dresden, Germany
What: Yuya goes on a birthday excursion for with everyone he invited and who also talked their way into an invitation
Warnings: None probably?? Play nice
Yuya spends the few days leading up to the first of March in a barely contained excitement as he plots out how to best use the school's helicopter transport, deliver word of mouth invites, and set a time to celebrate his 15th. Ultimately it's decided that because the trip is a few hours to make it a day event, with the helicopters taking off early and returning late into the night. Sticking with the group is probably advisable, although with so much time it's expected some people will wander. Yuya just wants a day to spend with his friends, instead of doing anything intricate.
The early hours are largely spent touring and window shopping, taking long walks through the markets, sampling food, or appreciating the rich art history on display. There's a lot of museums, parks, and it's the bright clear day. Chilly, though, so hopefully everyone brought jackets.
In the afternoon, they can hitch a ride on one of the paddle streamers along the river Elbe. It's a few hours of tour that takes them by the castles. The tickets aren't too expensive, but if someone can't afford it Yuya will spend some of his own money to spot them the ticket.
After the sun starts to wane and the temperature drop, it's off to warmer places. For those with the cash to spend, there's an opera house they might be able to catch a show at. Otherwise, the plan is to crowd up in some bakery-style restaurant for dinner and cake.
((This is a mingle style log, so feel free to make toplevels and tag each other. It's mostly a loosely planned free for all trip.))

In one hand he holds up his fork, and in the other he has a dice app pulled up on his phone.] A race! We'll use our forks as our markers, and every turn we roll the dice to see how many desserts forward we go, and try from that one! But if someone's fork is already on that dessert, you have to keep going back spaces until you're at a dessert that isn't claimed.

[This is why she likes you so much, Yuya. She looks down at the app, and then looks back at him.]
Let's do it. It's your birthday, so you go first!

All right. [He digs his fork into the tip of the third cake slice and eats it at once with a satisfied hum.]
no subject
[Hers leads to a little plate with a trio of lemon cookie. She puts her fork on it, then picks up one cookie and takes a bit.]
Mm.

He bounces two steps ahead, and cuts into a jelly filled pastry. It ends up a little messy and broken, but he enjoys it all the same.] You have to catch up, Nana!
no subject
[She rolls and it's... a four. Nana laughs, counting ahead the spaces, and lands on a slice of Boston cream cake. She cuts off the end, and takes a bite, before she sighs.]
Success!
no subject
Yeah! [He counts under his breath, landing on a huge caramel cupcake. He digs carefully so he can take part of the top and the bottom, holding his hand under his fork as he brings it to his mouth.]
It's so good...
no subject
She wants some of that cupcake. So she rolls, again -- and she gets a four. Which...puts her on the same spot as him.
She blinks.]
What happens here?

I don't feel I lost in any way, here.

[She rolls, and... gets a two, keeping her right behind him. And there's a little bit of creme brulee. She cuts the custard and sugar layer, and takes a bite.
Then sighs.]
This stuff is so hard to make, too...
no subject
[Because of course it'd be bananas.]
no subject
[...she looks kinda cocky right now.]

... And I'm initiating a new rule. We can eat from plates we've already passed when it's not our turn.
[It breaks the point of the game a little, but he has a feeling Nana won't mind it.]
no subject
[Nana laughs and basically, immediately, goes for the cupcake that Yuya just had some of.]
And I think that's a fine addition to the rules!
no subject
Mm... Getting everything was really the best idea!
no subject
[She goes for the cake slice he found earlier. Now she’s sliced away another bit.]
What’s your favorite so far?
no subject
But the cupcake was really good too. [He points.] And that cake. [He points again.] That cake too, and I need to try that one still...
no subject
[She looks over all of it. Her eyes blink a few times.]
...We may need something to take all of this home in.
no subject
... It's a good thing this is the last thing before we leave, right? [He smiles sheepishly, rolling the dice again. It's a one this time, so he takes a bite of the following one.]
no subject
[A beat. She moved her fork a lot. She glances between all the plates she ate it, and then...
...sheepishly...]
...I don't remember which one I was on. [So she just snatches a chocolate-covered banana she was eyeing.]

[Oh yeah she's eating it now.]
