Who: Yuya, people invited to his birthday
When: March 1
Where: Dresden, Germany
What: Yuya goes on a birthday excursion for with everyone he invited and who also talked their way into an invitation
Warnings: None probably?? Play nice
Yuya spends the few days leading up to the first of March in a barely contained excitement as he plots out how to best use the school's helicopter transport, deliver word of mouth invites, and set a time to celebrate his 15th. Ultimately it's decided that because the trip is a few hours to make it a day event, with the helicopters taking off early and returning late into the night. Sticking with the group is probably advisable, although with so much time it's expected some people will wander. Yuya just wants a day to spend with his friends, instead of doing anything intricate.
The early hours are largely spent touring and window shopping, taking long walks through the markets, sampling food, or appreciating the rich art history on display. There's a lot of museums, parks, and it's the bright clear day. Chilly, though, so hopefully everyone brought jackets.
In the afternoon, they can hitch a ride on one of the paddle streamers along the river Elbe. It's a few hours of tour that takes them by the castles. The tickets aren't too expensive, but if someone can't afford it Yuya will spend some of his own money to spot them the ticket.
After the sun starts to wane and the temperature drop, it's off to warmer places. For those with the cash to spend, there's an opera house they might be able to catch a show at. Otherwise, the plan is to crowd up in some bakery-style restaurant for dinner and cake.
((This is a mingle style log, so feel free to make toplevels and tag each other. It's mostly a loosely planned free for all trip.))

talking to gon is like talking to a ren faire re-enactor and I Apologize, Nana,
Nana you speak to him in Japanese,
Please Nana, he's using humbling pronoun....
...that has been out of date for a few decades, then again] Mnnhh......If I am to get a souvenir, I should make certain it is not only edible materials...it should be something that will last, and allow me to remember this event for many years in the future..!
[He has Absolutely over thought this.]
ahahaha amazing...
Hmm, I think that's a wonderful idea! [She's a little embarrassed by it. She can tell he's overthinking.
But that's okay!! Encouragement!!]
Maybe... oh! This shop says it sells curiosities. Maybe we'll find some local artwork or something there? [She points on the map.]
theatre club does an old noh play or something and everyone just TURNS,
But hey!! Encouragement!] Oh! ...Do you think so..? [He's not doubting, so much as asking from habit.] Then...That will be my first stop! [He determines. ....Hmm.]
Perhaps I, the man Gongenzaka, should make a list however... ...Do you perhaps know which of these words means...'gift', or similar..?
[Why must it all be German or English,]
omg, I love it, we need that
[...hmm. She doesn't read much German, sadly.
So she takes a second, wrinkling her nose, before...]
I'm not sure! We could wander around and see what catches our eye?
all the better for someone to drag in the bear!!
SHE WILL DO IT
I would be happy to, Gongenzaka-san!
yesssss
[Awesome! ...It's pretty much a standard mall, so they are definitely going to walk past a truck load of clothing stores.
That just figures.
Eventually they'll either hit that curiosities shop, or one of those standard gift shops filled with cards, candy, and stuffed toys most likely.
Good stuff. For now though-] ...Do you think you will find anything you wish to buy for yourself?

She looks sideways at his question, then blinks; she smiles after that, though.]
I might! I do like souvenirs... maybe I'll get some things for a couple of friends. I already got Yuya's, of course...

no subject
I really hope he likes it...
no subject
Of what sort? ...I, the man Gongenzaka, suspect he will like it regardless, of course..! [He adds hurriedly, nodding as he says as much.]
no subject
[It's a friendship bracelet. It's totally a friendship bracelet.]
no subject
....Bananas? [He caught it. HE CAUGHT THAT,] ..As in... 'Banana'? [He asks in english.] ...'Nana'?
no subject
Daiba Nana.
no subject
AUHHH..!!
[Exclaimed with all the immediate astonishment of someone who took a bit to grasp the pun-!]

[Some would say her parents are jerks.
Nana would say they know what's up.]
no subject
It certainly makes the charm a success, at least..!
So then...it is a friendship gift?
no subject
[She blinks, though, and her head tilts to the side. Nana looks confused.]
What else would I give him?
no subject
Auh-!! My apologies..! I, the man Gongenzaka, was making a guess! [He just thought charm, and thought friend bracelet...He couldn't have been wrong right!?]
no subject
[She was worried, for a second, he might have meant a... non-friend gift?? But no, it was a BEST FRIEND (shared with current company!!) gift.
She smiles up at him.]
What did you get him?
no subject
I created for him a calligraphy piece, painted and framed. I chose the character for 'smile', and made it so that it appears to be a smiling animal..!
Also, I got him a stuffed animal, which he can use as a cushion, or a pillow... [......................................]
no subject
A stuffed animal, thoughβ
Nana blinks.]
Oh! That sounds very cute. Heβll like it a lot. Youβre... very fond of him, arenβt you, Gongenzaka-san?
no subject
[.....
he's oblivious isn't he...]no subject
That's wonderful, Gongenzaka-san! That you're so fond of him!
[Oh my goddddd. Does Yuya know??]
no subject
Auh!! I- Do you think so..? [he laughs, entirely unaware of what Nana means.] I, the man Gongenzaka, am only trying my best to make sure he enjoys his birthday after all...
[You sure are you big doofus,]
