Who: Yuya, people invited to his birthday

What: Yuya goes on a birthday excursion for with everyone he invited and who also talked their way into an invitation

Yuya spends the few days leading up to the first of March in a barely contained excitement as he plots out how to best use the school's helicopter transport, deliver word of mouth invites, and set a time to celebrate his 15th. Ultimately it's decided that because the trip is a few hours to make it a day event, with the helicopters taking off early and returning late into the night. Sticking with the group is probably advisable, although with so much time it's expected some people will wander. Yuya just wants a day to spend with his friends, instead of doing anything intricate.

The early hours are largely spent touring and window shopping, taking long walks through the markets, sampling food, or appreciating the rich art history on display. There's a lot of museums, parks, and it's the bright clear day. Chilly, though, so hopefully everyone brought jackets.

In the afternoon, they can hitch a ride on one of the paddle streamers along the river Elbe. It's a few hours of tour that takes them by the castles. The tickets aren't too expensive, but if someone can't afford it Yuya will spend some of his own money to spot them the ticket.

After the sun starts to wane and the temperature drop, it's off to warmer places. For those with the cash to spend, there's an opera house they might be able to catch a show at. Otherwise, the plan is to crowd up in some bakery-style restaurant for dinner and cake.

Maybe... oh! This shop says it sells curiosities. Maybe we'll find some local artwork or something there? [She points on the map.]

[It's pretty wild, and probably wilder that Yuuya just. Got used to this somehow.

But hey!! Encouragement!] Oh! ...Do you think so..? [He's not doubting, so much as asking from habit.] Then...That will be my first stop! [He determines. ....Hmm.]

Perhaps I, the man Gongenzaka, should make a list however... ...Do you perhaps know which of these words means...'gift', or similar..?

A-Auh...perhaps I should have thought to do that in the first place... [He laughs nervously. Looking first to the map, and then to his watch, he soon turns back to Nana.] Would you perhaps like to join me, Nana?

Oh, please don't be embarrassed! It's okay. [She waves her hands, a little apologetically, and then shakes her head.]

[Awesome! ...It's pretty much a standard mall, so they are definitely going to walk past a truck load of clothing stores.

That just figures.

Eventually they'll either hit that curiosities shop, or one of those standard gift shops filled with cards, candy, and stuffed toys most likely.

Good stuff. For now though-] ...Do you think you will find anything you wish to buy for yourself?

[Nana's happy to start walking, keeping pace with Gon pretty easily despite his size. She's confident they'll find an interesting store. It's a matter of time!

She looks sideways at his question, then blinks; she smiles after that, though.]

I might! I do like souvenirs... maybe I'll get some things for a couple of friends. I already got Yuya's, of course...

Oh? What did you get him? [Naturally, he will answer if she asks about what He got, now...]

I commissioned him a bracelet!

I really hope he likes it...

Oh! A bracelet..?

Of what sort? ...I, the man Gongenzaka, suspect he will like it regardless, of course..! [He adds hurriedly, nodding as he says as much.]

A wooden one! I got... you know the stars, on his goggles? I had those and some bananas engraved into it.

[It's a friendship bracelet. It's totally a friendship bracelet.]

....Bananas? [He caught it. HE CAUGHT THAT,] ..As in... 'Banana'? [He asks in english.] ...'Nana'?

Mm-hm! [She nods, smiling brightly. He got it! Then, she explains, by saying her name and enunciating just the right syllables:]

AUHHH..!!

[Exclaimed with all the immediate astonishment of someone who took a bit to grasp the pun-!]

[Some would say her parents are jerks.

Nana would say they know what's up.]

It certainly makes the charm a success, at least..!

So then...it is a friendship gift?

[She blinks, though, and her head tilts to the side. Nana looks confused.]

What else would I give him?

Auh-!! My apologies..! I, the man Gongenzaka, was making a guess! [He just thought charm, and thought friend bracelet...He couldn't have been wrong right!?]

It's okay, Gongenzaka-san!

[She was worried, for a second, he might have meant a... non-friend gift?? But no, it was a BEST FRIEND (shared with current company!!) gift.

She smiles up at him.]

What did you get him?

[Yes well speaking of...Non-friend gifts. Gongenzaka seems a bit redfaced as he starts to explain.] Auh- Well...you must promise not to tell him, but since he will learn today...

I created for him a calligraphy piece, painted and framed. I chose the character for 'smile', and made it so that it appears to be a smiling animal..!

Also, I got him a stuffed animal, which he can use as a cushion, or a pillow... [......................................]

[At first, Nana nods along. That’s a cute idea. It’s very Yuya: smiling and adorable animals. And calligraphy seems like something he’d like.
