When You Made Wishes: start! (player plot)
Imagine Wist's surprise when April rolled around and their plan for a great prank was foiled on account of all those students just...leaving??? Truly, they have become the April fool... It's what they wanted, of course -- for the pitiful humans to find freedom -- and sure there are some stragglers around, but...in the end, they decide to take the win and enjoy a short break of their own. Good thing, too, or they might have pulled out all their hair in frustration when Spring Break comes to an end and the swarm of students and faculty willingly return to their prison.
While settling back into the academy and resigning themselves to a routine, the people of Daybreak will be soothed by a gentle tune rising up from the forest. It isn't a song they've heard before, and yet, somehow...it's nostalgic, isn't it? The soft notes of the pan flute stir up something in their hearts, tugging at old memories and drawing forth a feeling of dissatisfaction and longing out from under them. Let the song lull them into taking a moment to withdraw from the hustle and bustle -- hey, turns out they sort of need it. Maybe they're coming down with a cold, or just some quick little bug...

Why did you come back? You don't have to live like this.
Weren't things better back then? Try to remember what it used to be like.

The odd message from an iris account that doesn't exist isn't up for long before the spell kicks into the next phase. However they manifest and from when differs from person to person, but those affected will all have the bizarre experience of watching some ghost of themselves from their past be born from their soul's memory. Don't think there are those that can escape this fate just by returning at a later time, either -- Wist can keep up this panpipe nonsense all day, every day if they have to. If that what it takes to get their point across...
Good luck trying to comprehend whatever point that may be, because now Daybreak is the new home to a bunch of familiar-looking rugrats and has to contend with whatever complications they may bring along with them.

That too, but nah. A reservation is what you make at a place to be sure you get a spot. You want a fancy meal at that Italian place, you call 'em up and make a reservation. Paper money is supposed to be like that, holding the place for, like, gold or some shit, I dunno, but nobody ever sees the gold. The paper's easier.
[Money's pretty fake, tbh.]
no subject
He might have to try making his own fake money to buy a phone after all.]
France is weird.
no subject
Uh, yeah, the whole world is weird. Bet you €20 you're from a weird place, too -- where you from?
no subject
[His shoulders slump]
But no one seems to have heard of it.
no subject
Bet a lot of these dummies never heard of livres either. Francs, maybe. Point is...you're a from a place nobody's heard of, seeing lots of weird things you've never fucking seen before... If you're a time traveler, imagine the fortune you can make when you get back!
no subject
[It seems impossible and yet, somehow, it makes sense. There seemed to be more countries in the world now than there used to be, and there were all these foods and devices that he had never seen before.
Could Subcon have fallen to one of them? Or maybe it just decided to become something else? Maybe it wasn't forgotten after all. Just... changed.]
Yeah! And I can still go home! And I'll be like one of those seers, but better.
no subject
Hey, watch it, punk. M -- [not Mama, with Ricky around] -- y friend Ramona is a seer and there ain't no one better than her, she's the fucking best. You'll be richer, though. Sneakier. Nice and cheatly.
no subject
I'll read about all the most important cases out there and and make sure I'm always there first. I'll be the best lawyer in the world ever!
no subject
A lawyer, huh? [he has no idea what it's like to look forward to a future plan like that, it just does not make any sense to him, how does this little fucking kid know he wants to be a lawyer and believe in himself, obviously he's the devil] Yeah, you could do tons of important shit, then. Hey, if I had a photograph, only it moved and was like a storybook about lawyers, would you wanna watch that?
no subject
Um... It's not going to have bunnies being torn apart is it?
[Because he did not like not!Watership Down in the slightest]
no subject
What the fuck?
[WHY WOULD THAT BE THE CASE WHAT THE FUCK!!!]
no subject
I didn't mean to! The creepy guy suggested "movies" and asked for something for kids and then Toki got something!
no subject
No, the only bunny in this movie is a hot lady dressing up, and nobody gets torn apart. [Well, physically torn apart.] That Toki guy doesn't always know what the fuck's going on, but I'm not fucking stupid, so you don't have to worry. If you still don't wanna watch it, I'm not gonna make you, though.
no subject
No, I wanna watch it! I just wanted to make sure it wasn't scary, that's all!
no subject
Nah. I got your back, kiddo. You finish that up before it melts and hold down the fort, alright? I gotta get my laptop.
[TIME TO WATCH LEGALLY BLONDE WITH SOME KID AND HIS CHILDHOOD SELF, they will learn so much about law and respecting women, dangit.]
