[Toki doesn't know what happened, but there's a weird guy in a red costume, and a talking bear. He doesn't recognize Gongenzaka's voice, because he doesn't pick on those things.]

[ It's slightly baffling that Peter, of all people, is the one who knocks on his door given he doesn't even live here, but you know what?

He's not questioning it. He's out of the room and pulling on a jacket, more for look than because he actually feels cold, as soon as he's gotten a grasp on the situation.

He's just...going to ignore the yelling going on right now and focus on who's injured. There's one obvious patient, at least. ]

If one of you could tell me what exactly happened here while I'm working...

[Having Kano's arms waved around in his face, besides the worry, does result in him reflexively moving to catch the wrist of the arm that he's sure was (is) broken.] I don't think we need a doll right now, Toki... what happened, anyway?

*So on an intellectual level the 'being hugged by a bear' should be weird. It should just be flat out very very weird. No matter how small the bear is this is a bear, hugging her. But it's also Zaka, and he's really calming, and fluffy. And he's saying nice things to her which she doesn't buy but they're nice to hear.*

*And she calms down enough to realize the most important thing in all of this. And starts laughing.*

[He pauses in the head nuzzles for a moment, just to grasp the pun. And when he does, he manages a laugh himself-

Because a laugh, after all, is much better than the alternative.] AUH! Yes! It is, indeed! A 'Bear' hug!! [He exclaims, ears wiggling.]

But what if everyone wasn't...

*That's where Maya's mind always went, that's why she was here, she could hear trouble... she could stop it, she could get there first but there was so much she couldn't stop here and- just. What if it all happened again?*

Yuya! We summoned Kokkuri-san! On the roof! He texted me!

[He points at Kano; he still doesn't know his name.]

And then we went to the roof to play Kokkuri-san to talk to my sister and get information, but we didn't have a coin, so we used a Rilakkuma phone charm, and then I thought he was just joking, so I was going to go back inside, but he wasn't! We really summoned Kokkuri-san and I told her to take his soul and use his body and now he's possessed and she won't give it back until I find her a doll to use as a new vessel~!

[ He lets out a yell of pain and- oh fuck, fuck he's crying, he ducks his head and tries to shake Yuya off but that's impossible without feeling like he's dying so instead

he's just going to continue yelling, gotta let it out somehow and if he's not screaming in pain he might as well be yelling as Toki ]

THAT'S RIGHT, A DOLL! I NEED A DOLL RIGHT NOW OR I'LL DIE! KOKKURI-SAN COMMANDS IT!!

[ He gestures at Gon, Yuuya, Ekke, the whole crowd really. ]

[Yuya releases Kano's arm and his expression falls. He knows that the supernatural is very real, and so is all manner of demonic possession, but... Kokkuri-san, really?

And he knows acting, and Kano's is falling apart a little with the whole falling screaming breaking his arm deal.

But he'll play along for now.] Okay. When you're getting a doll, can you also tell the school nurse to come here? Do that first, even.

[He looks back to Kano.] Unless you want to walk there, but I think it'd be better if you just stay still and calm down.

*Maya doesn't lie about how much of a mess she is, she just would rather not talk about it if at all possible.*

[ Peter's coming up behind him? Yeah why is he here. He totally wasn't here when all of this went down, that was the spider guy. Who is now mysteriously not here. Who knows, it is a mystery. ]

I think they fell off the roof. I heard yelling and there were people laid out in the common room.

[ Which he probably already told Ekkehardt in his room but. Helping! ]

[ Kano can't tell him what happened, but he's the one screaming, and also the one who's obviously injured; Ekkehardt can find him on the couch in the common room with his arm broken so badly no amount of bandages can help him.

A bandage would be useful, though. To seal up his mouth. ]

[To that, he simply nods. He knows not to press and pry- when it is something that brings out those feelings...these moments are never the time for that. So instead, he tries to help her up while still holding her in some sort of awkward hug.] Aauh- I have... a small variety, in our dorm- I can show you how it is made, and, we can serve the others, with spare mugs, [he continues, nodding occasionally as he speaks.]

If you would like to do that, with me?

[Toki is going with his original idea on the roof, then.]

[Imelda didn't necessarily have anyone knocking on her door, but with waking up to a child screaming outside the building, there's really no need for it. She's still in her pajamas with a shawl thrown over her shoulders and her shoes hastily slipped on, but she is out the door.

She arrives just about when Ekkehardt is getting to work, and comes to a halt behind him. Maybe trying to catch her breath because she's not on the first floor, thanks.]

Dios mios, what happened? [Is the first question out of her mouth, but not necessarily the more important one. He seems to know what he's doing, so she'll follow his lead for now.] Where do you need me?

[For clarification, Toki is not hurt at all, because he fell on the bear and bears are soft. He's fine, he's just... like that, and maybe having a little unrelated-to-the-fall breakdown. It's fine.]

[ Luckily for Kano, Ekkehardt is a surgeon and a healer as well as trained in first aid; magic means some things can be taken care of much more quickly.

Kano being a Contracted complicates things a little - he tries not to use magic for them unless he has to - but this is serious enough that he thinks he can risk it. ]

Try not to move. [ He kneels and focuses his attention entirely on Kano's arm, locating the injury in more detail, and makes a small tch noise. ]

It's a clean break, at least.

[ He pulls out a roll of bandages, carefully directing them to weave tightly around Kano's arm, and then...

Well, the good news is that Kano can't feel the pain from a broken arm any more. The more alarming news is that he can't really feel his arm any more??

But hey, at least it doesn't hurt so he can hopefully stop screaming. ]

That- sounds nice.

*It'll be a quieter room. Especially since she keeps picking up when Kano's sounds change. And that's another thing to worry about, later. Plus there's the whole Spider-Peter thing to talk about, and she's not terribly fond of the noise she's getting off that one guy with the Dragon.*

I- it just keeps happening. I'm halfway across the world and-

*Yeah, sadly Maya's still very used to them. The bad brain. She's slowly putting all the thoughts and tricks her therapist had given her before she left Canada. She's breathing a little calmer now (not that her breathing makes any noise). But it's still there. She met both of them, and now they fell off a roof.*

Mnh! [And he will do just that then, though he does have one arm hovering a little bit in case she still needs support as they set off. Let's just hurry off to the dorm then.] Of course! ...Auh...it was not, 'invasive', was it? I am trying not to make others uncomfortable, with such things..!
